Spring Fair Theme Party Ideas
They say it’s more fun in the Philippines — except when it’s sweltering outside, and we’re baked to perfection. Amidst the summer heat, we wish we had something like the spring season here. While that’s impossible, we’re happy enough to get a spring-inspired affair for little Ennie. The creative minds at MAGO Events Stylist (also Ennie’s mom) kept everything light and breezy, but with a dose of chicness. Check out these totally adorbable snaps from Amilon Ignacio Photography to see why we’re springing for joy!
Celebration invites rarely get a highlight, but we think they deserve a time to shine, too! A well-designed invitation has all the theme elements and details tied up prettily in a single page, and that’s what illustrator Myla Morales did.
Outside of the venue was a charming photowall, made up literally of wall panels, where guests can take souvenir photos. Different shades of peach and a smattering of white made the nook dreamy and snap-worthy!
Spring season means colors, but in Ennie’s fete, the palette was muted but just as tasteful. There was a bright vibe going on inside the venue, thanks to the hanging white Japanese lanterns that filled the ceiling. It was the perfect complement to the natural light-filled space and the breezy palette of peach and blue.
The stage backdrop, on the other hand, was a lovely shade of eggshell blue, with two windows and a door. A rustic bouquet of flora and foliage bedecked each window, a true representation of blooming spring.
We at Party Doll Manila always love a carefully curated centerpiece, this one definitely delivered. A box of bright blooms and aqua blue napkins added a welcoming contrast to the white-clothed tables. The inclusion of the theme menu is a nice, thoughtful touch, might we add.
For the younger guests, there were several pint-sized tables and chairs placed nearest to the stage. Each was a miniature version of the adult tables, sans the brightly colored table napkins.
The birthday cake was a dainty, multi-tiered masterpiece from Maure Confections that stayed true to the theme. It was a charming ensemble of whimsical and abstract elements, done in the colors of light peach, eggshell blue, and white.
It was a fun day of activities to celebrate Ennie’s first birthday and baptism, with booths of carnival games like ring toss and giant pick-up sticks. Host Clowny Bamba got the ball rolling with the program and games, while Ivan the Selfie Magician delivered some good, old entertainment to keep the kids entranced and enthralled.
Every guest got to bring home small bracelet boxes as simple tokens of appreciation for celebrating the wonderful milestone with Ennie and her family. Godparents received beautifully crafted wooden boxes, perfect for stowing away keepsakes and curios.
It looked like young Ennie and her big sister had a great time with everyone—just look at their gleeful faces! We at PDM hope that Ennie grows up in a life filled with eternal spring of happiness!
