Mermaid Party Ideas
Jia’s fifth birthday was a sweet and whimsical underwater adventure inspired by her favorite animal, the axolotl. For her “Dive Into Five” celebration at Jungle Gym Playhouse Dagupan, Jessie Balloons transformed the playhouse into a dreamy pastel underwater world filled with mermaids, sea creatures, jellyfish, and plenty of ocean inspired details.
Guests were greeted by a charming pastel castle entrance, decorated with soft balloons, a dolphin, a cute little crab, and other playful sea creatures. It was a sweet first glimpse of the celebration waiting inside.
The ceiling was filled with colorful streamers, pastel balloons, hanging jellyfish, and little sea creatures tucked among the details. The mix of textures and soft colors added a playful underwater touch from above.
Jia’s name and number five stood out against a dreamy underwater scene, complete with a mermaid, dolphins, waves, and pastel castle details. With the soft colors and playful characters, the setup made a lovely focal point for the celebration and a picture perfect spot for Jia and her guests.
The tables carried the underwater theme into the smaller details, with sandy jar centerpieces topped with adorable sea inspired figures. Soft blue accents and playful touches kept the setup cohesive without taking away from the rest of the celebration.
A whimsical cake by DGP Cakes brought the same soft pastel palette to the dessert table. With its playful design, textured details, and delicate finishing touches, it was a beautiful centerpiece that felt right at home with the rest of the celebration.
Once the party got going, the kids had plenty to keep them entertained. They joined in on the games and got to take home ocean themed toys and goodies as prizes, including board games and other fun little finds.
There was also plenty to enjoy between all the activities. Guests could grab coffee from Vespresso Cafe, croissants from Kroissant Kart, and everyone’s favorite Potato Corner. For something more savory, Beyza Shish Kebab served up a delicious Mediterranean spread.
The kids also got to make something of their own during the party: their very own soaps! They picked their colors and molds, poured their creations, and came back later to collect their finished soaps.
And then there was the play area, probably one of the biggest highlights for the kids. With slides, climbing areas, and ball pits all around, there was plenty of running, climbing, sliding, and diving to be done. Even the adults got in on the fun!
Another little underwater world was waiting at the photowall, this time featuring some of Jia’s favorite sea creatures. Adorable axolotls, a turtle, jellyfish, seashells, and starfish surrounded the shimmering backdrop, making it a favorite spot for photos throughout the afternoon.
The giveaways were arranged neatly on shelves, with colorful packs lined up and ready to go. They added another playful detail to the party setup while giving everyone a little something to take home.
Amid all the fun, Jia and her family took a little time for photos together. Surrounded by the beautiful party setup, they captured sweet moments they could look back on long after the celebration.
