Filipino Fiesta Theme Party Ideas

Nothing’s better than a whole day of celebrating Filipino music, food, people, arts, and culture. The sound of music that soothes the soul, food that brings back memories, people that make you feel welcome with their warmth, arts that deserve international recognition, and culture that tells meaningful stories. All these can be experienced in our Pista sa Nayon. Pista means a celebration, and whenever we hear the word, it automatically stimulates joy and excitement. For Reesha’s 1st birthday bash, Styled by Deiz put up a little village and the probinsya -vibes automatically lighted up the place. Just describing it makes me cheerful already, and I can’t wait to share with you all the pictures taken by Joel Aragones. Tara, g!?!

Reesha’s 1st birthday fiesta is a bit modern and since the party is as intimate as it can be, the invites were sent online saying “Ikaw ay imbitado” to their closest family and a few special friends.

The fete happened outdoor, and to make it look more festive, colorful banderitas were used all over the place. This definitely is a fiesta-theme party must-have.

My favorite area is their main setup. From the kiddie-sized Bahay Kubo (made of sasa and kawayan) and tiny sari-sari store in the corner to sorbetes ni Manong, and of course, masarap na lechon (roasted pig)! All these were wonderfully brought together to create the perfect Pinoy Fiesta ensemble.

The cake needs no explanation because it describes Pinoy Fiesta with every detail. I can’t get enough of the tiny palaro details showcasing Palosebo and Sack Race, games that became part of the traditions in every Pistahan sa Nayon. And look, a little Reesha topper wearing a pink saya beats a cherry on top.

Our next stop is the dessert corner. Pistang Pinoy is not complete without desserts, because Filipinos love sweets. Ellis Cakes prepared all the sweet treats for the party from the cake to cupcakes, cookies, and pops.

Pista sa Nayon brings families together, and it makes the celebration more special. The warmth, laughter, and kwentuhan makes the heart grow fonder. And on that day, the family celebrated a new milestone together.
