Lucia’s Pista sa Nayon Themed Party – 1st Birthday

One of the things I like about our Filipino culture is our love for fiestas. Every year, there are lots of different fiestas happening in different parts of our country. Fun games, lots and lots of good food, colorful banderitas everywhere and of course, bonding with our family and friends. What’s not to love? After all, fiestas are more fun in the Philippines! Agree?

I love Mommy Joan’s idea of  throwing a “Pista sa Nayon” or “Philippine Fiesta” themed party for cutie Lucia. It’s such a unique birthday theme to have. Here’s Lucia’s Philippine fiesta themed invites.

Teamed up with Imma and Pauline of Kidstar Kastles, it’s no surprise that there was an explosion of colors! Colorful draping coupled with clustered balloons, it’s what Kidstar Kastles does best. It’s their “signature style”.

Here’s Flooch entertaining Lucia’s guests. There’s no doubt that both the kids and the young at heart enjoyed the fun magic show and games prepared for them. See all those wonderful smiles? I sooo love these candid shots.

Can you imagine a fiesta without food? Impossible! Lucia’s party got, not 1 but 2, lechon! One of the staple food in every Philippine fiesta party.

Now, for my favorite detail in Lucia’s party, her Philippine fiesta inspired cake! I love how Gel Colet of Swell Sweets Confections managed to incorporate all these fun Filipino fiesta culture. There’s our typical fiesta food, some beautiful ancestral houses and bayanihan dancers! How about these traditional Filipino games? Palo sebo and sungka. Even their cupcakes were adorable as well.

Lucia’s kiddie guests also got to take home some favors.

Their mommy-baby matching outfit looks cute! Of course, let’s not forget daddy’s outfit too.

  1. That is one colorful event. I love seeing the vibrant colors everywhere 🙂 Ngayon lang ako nakakita ng sobrang colorful na party. It’s usually one-color themed lang diba 😀

  2. Oh my! The cake is a show-stopper!! I love it so much! I miss having themed birthday parties! It’s so expensive here and I can’t afford to have one for my little boys… 🙁 Anyway, the birthday girl is so cute and I really love the theme!

  3. Kidstar Kastles is indeed the best when it comes to party decorations. I also hired Flooch in my daughter’s 1st birthday party and as expected he’s brilliant.
