Cooper’s Vintage Boxing Themed Party – 1st Birthday

When your birthday falls on an epic boxing day, that can only mean one thing – throw a boxing party!

The Fight of the Century took the nation by storm, and it also inspired the birthday bash of Baby Cooper. Since that was a huge matchup, his parents pooled the two best party creatives – She Dreams in Ink and Sunny Side Up Events – to organize a real knockout party! They decked the space with classic boxing decorations and vivid hues of the waning sunset, which, whether you are a boxing junkie or a casual viewer, will have you wishing every day was a boxing day. They also arranged the venue to prevent things from being too chaotic. In the blue corner… a space where adults could watch and in the red corner… a separate area for kids to play. I wonder who scored the most blows!

The next bout of our boxing champ is coming up, and we have some ideas ready to make sure your viewing party is just as fun as what will be unfolding on your screen. See the photos below captured by Delightful Little Darlings and get ready to rumbleeeee!

The venue was brimming with vintage boxing wares. The trophy, boxing posters, and leather boxing gloves seemed to jump out from old newspaper pages, creating a great decorative touch to a man cave! Oh I love the instant sense of time and memory they bring!

The venue had a series of station, and the entrance was referred to as Round 1. A festive signage decorated the entryway, and guests were continuously charmed by the mini gladiator jousting and boxing rings set up in the indoor and outdoor areas.

The centerpieces such as succulents, plant pokes in decoupage style, and mini boxing ring adorned with blooms added punch to the tables without disturbing the color scheme.

The alternating red and yellow balloons – adorned with tassels – created a simple overhead display to match the playful floor design.

In this awesome confection, the photo of Baby Cooper scored major cuteness points with his guests. What a KO!

Let us be real, a party is not a party these days without a fun photo booth. Cooper – rocking his customized gloves and boxing robe – looked Instagram-ready in this mini boxing ring set against a vintage backdrop. Adorable!

And while moms and dads were glued to the large screen, the munchkins enjoyed their time on JUMP, BOUNCE N PLAY’s giant indoor inflatable arena. Hello there, munchkins!

Kids also had fun pasting and decorating plushy gloves. The best thing is – they get to take home what they made!
