Ember Frostine’s 7th birthday came to life in a delightful Royal x Space Molly celebration that blended regal charm with cosmic fun. The venue transformed into a dreamy universe filled with crowned characters, pastel planets, and playful details that captured both elegance and imagination. It was a magical setting where young guests stepped into a world fit for little royals and space explorers alike.

I’ve known Kristel (Ember’s mom) since Ember was less than a year old through our Mommy group—and even back then, I already got a glimpse of how bold and creative her ideas can be. I designed Ember’s first invitation, and her theme was “Fire and Ice”—beautiful, but definitely not easy.
Fast forward to 2026, Ember was turning seven and celebrating in the Philippines while they are based in Canada. Kristel reached out to me again, this time trusting me as the overall designer and stylist for the entire event.

And just like before… the challenge was real.

Ember’s chosen theme? Pop Mart x Molly—while most references available are centered around Labubu. But it didn’t stop there—Ember is very particular. She specifically wanted only the Royal and Space Molly versions, which made sourcing inspiration even more limited.
From the invitation and printables to the LED wall design and full event styling, everything had to be built almost entirely from scratch. Pinterest helped a little, but there simply weren’t enough ideas to rely on—so creativity truly had to take the lead.

In the end, seeing Ember’s reaction made every effort worthwhile. From her custom standees to her very own Pop Mart–inspired celebration—brought to life in her home country, the Philippines—it was pure fulfillment as a designer-stylist.

Guests were welcomed through a charming Pop Mart–inspired entrance that immediately set the tone for the celebration. Framed with pastel panels, character standees, and soft lighting details, the doorway created a playful first impression while giving everyone a glimpse of the magical world waiting inside.

Looking up, the ceiling became a stunning visual highlight of the venue. A canopy of pastel balloons in soft candy colors filled the space, accented with flowing fringe installations that added movement and texture.

The stage stood as the centerpiece of the celebration, designed to capture the essence of both royalty and space adventure. Featuring vibrant character displays, a custom LED wall, and oversized marquee letters spelling Ember’s name, the setup created a lively focal point for performances, photos, and special moments. It perfectly brought the Royal x Space Molly theme to life.

The adult tables featured soft, elegant centerpieces with pastel balloons and charming Space Molly accents that tied beautifully into the overall theme. Simple yet playful details added character to each table while keeping the setup clean and sophisticated.

The kids’ tables were styled with colorful place settings, themed activity mats, and party hats that made each seat feel extra special. Every detail was thoughtfully prepared to create an inviting and fun space where young guests could enjoy the celebration.

Designed to match the Royal x Space Molly theme, the birthday cake featured charming character elements and whimsical space accents. The fun details and bright colors made it a sweet and memorable part of the party. Surrounded by coordinated treats, the dessert display created a cheerful and eye-catching highlight of the day.

A variety of well-loved food carts added extra fun and flavor to the celebration. From tasty snacks to refreshing desserts, these stations kept guests satisfied and added another enjoyable highlight to the party.

The celebration was brought to life by Team Gen, who hosted the program with energy and enthusiasm, keeping the flow smooth and engaging for everyone. Adding to the excitement, Magnifico amazed guests with a fun-filled magic show, while Tectonix delighted the crowd with their lively dancing balloon performance.

A dedicated play area provided younger guests with a safe and exciting space to enjoy. With pastel inflatables and soft play equipment, it offered endless fun while seamlessly blending into the overall theme of the celebration.

An interactive charm station allowed guests to create their own personalized accessories to take home. With a colorful selection of beads and cute elements, the activity added a creative touch to the celebration and kept kids happily engaged.

The themed photowall served as a fun spot for photos, featuring Royal and Space Molly characters along with playful design elements that matched the party’s look. It created a charming backdrop where guests could capture special memories from the day.
