Rhina and Rhaissa’s Maleficent Themed Party – 7th and 10th Birthday

While most girls dream of having a princess themed party or maybe whimsical fairies, royal banquets or shabby chic girlyness, today’s party feature comes to me by a surprise. A very lovely surprise that is and I couldn’t be happier. To be honest, I secretly wished someone would throw this theme ASAP the moment the movie hit the theaters and of course, would share their party with me. Yep, wish granted. We’ve seen the “Happily Ever After” but today, this kick-ass Villainess will take the center stage – Maleficent! I’m a fan of this movie because it revealed the real story of Maleficent and how Princess Aurora changed her life. I could relate to this because this theme changed my view on what to expect party themes to be nowadays. Anyhow, let’s get back to business!

Our two R’s invitation is postcard-like and comes complete with design that is easily relatable to the theme.

Let’s go into the woods, I mean to the stage. Violet and black are the colors of the party. Just like the colors of Maleficent herself. It was decorated in such a way that you would feel like you’re in the woods with Maleficent lurking around. Having a scary tree, crows and vines at the ceiling effectively gave the venue the perfect spooky ambiance while paper pompoms and lanterns added lightness to the whole scene.

The lavender tablecloth and white flowers spell chic and fierce.

Look how cute the cake is! Instead of making Maleficent evil-ish and scary; they’ve made it charming and sweet much to my delight. The patterns and colors made the overall look classy. Same goes with the dessert table; it’s not your typical cutesy display but still appropriate with the motif. They even made a personalized chocolate bar with Rhaissa and Rhina’s name on it.

The kiddos enjoyed the games and spectacles provided by the host who wonderfully enveloped the kids with his own mystical powers.

Everyone took home these goody baskets filled with awesome finds. Having Maleficent’s logo on it made it more magnificent, indeed! (Pun intended)
