The work of a lumberjack is difficult, dangerous and primitive in living conditions. However, these men built a traditional culture that celebrated strength and masculinity. The only thing more badass than a logger… is a lumberjack-themed birthday party! That’s right, very unusual yet oh so unique.
Woods and trees are the essentials to make this theme superb. And of course, the main motif is the red and black plaid. The details of Mavi’s 1st birthday bash are well thought-of and are so precise. Kudos to Khim Cruz of Party Deco, we are able to experience going into the woods and soon enough you’ll be hearing someone shout “timber!”.
Anyone will love how the ceiling was intricately designed with old-fashioned gas lamps and hanging leaf garlands. And that red and brown drapes, plus earth-tone tassels added much to that camping-in-the-woods vibe.
The impeccable stage set-up was really a perfect spot for a photo-op. Elements such as woods, trees and forest animals decked the stage, which will surely make you feel like you are in a lumber camp.
A miniature pine tree, a deer, a tiny acorn wreath, an old-fashioned gas lamp are just a few of the sights that highlighted the center of each table. They are finely outlined atop both the adults’ table as well as the kids’ fun and cute picnic tables.
Mavi’s birthday cake is simply delectable, you cannot “axe” for more. The staple plaid design on top of a chopped timber made the two-tier cake. On top is a deer and even more pine trees.
Mouthwatering.. that’s how this bountiful dessert spread looks like. Cupcakes with a mix of different toppers will make your eyes sparkle in awe – there’s a cuddly bear, a cute deer and Mavi’s initial on top of a lumber. They also have cookies of different designs, from plaids to axes, and ox horn too. And there’s those adorable hedgehog truffles and acorn cake pops blaring with so much cuteness. And of course, what’s a camp without s’mores! Jackie Martinez of Crafty Cakes and Cupcakes made sure that delicately crafted treats await the guests at the dessert table. It’ll make Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox rush to grab some goodies.
