Sesame Street Theme Party Ideas
The delightful characters of Sesame Street graced our next featured party. Their appearance is just in time for their 50th anniversary since their first debut on tv in 1980. From a preschool television program screened in more than 100 different countries, with a goal of preparing young children for school by having fun with numbers, colors and alphabet.
This party wouldn’t be this pretty without the creative expertise of the Confetti Warehouse and Popping Parties team. Good thing we can always count on the ever amazing Ren Faustino III in capturing all the fun and excitement that happened on Cal’s special day.
The guests were greeted by two famous Sesame Street characters, Big Bird and Cookie Monster. On the other side, Cal’s growing up pictures were also displayed for his guests to see. Starting from the day he was born up until he was 11 months new.
The ceiling was decorated with simple yet colorful round lanterns in green, yellow, red and blue.
Cal’s stage was jam-packed with Sesame Street’s main cast from Big Bird, Cookie Monster, Elmo to Ernie and Bert. There’s also a white wooden bench where family and guests can take pictures with the entire gang for a cute souvenir snap.
The table centerpieces were composed of a Sesame Street School and Cal’s alphabet blocks.
For the cake, the team from Sugarplum Pastries didn’t disappoint us with this super cute 2-tiered cake covered with colorful shapes and different Sesame Street characters. Even Cookie Monster looks extremely happy here!
Colorful macaroons, cupcakes and cakepops are just some of the sweet finds prepared for the guests to enjoy.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a party without games and surprises, right? Check out their coloring activity for Cal’s little friends plus some fun games and magic tricks, too.
To end this amazing party, Cal’s friends went home with adorable kiddie chairs and themed head piece. I’m sure the kids loved it!
Here’s to the birthday boy and his beautiful family.!
