Under the Sea Theme Party Ideas
A dreamy sea view , cute little creatures and mermaid fantasy are some of the things that make an Under the Sea party perfect. But for Annika’s 1st birthday bash, Dianne Khu Designs made it extra cute and girly by going all out pastel! Special thanks to Every Sunday Studios for sharing with us this picturesque bash. Ready to dive in with us? We hope you are!
Welcoming the guests is this arch with an adorable mermaid, huge seashell and different nautical treasures.
A quick look will reveal a gorgeous ceiling installation. I love how the balloons created a cool bubbly effect. Let’s not forget these umbrellas disguised as jellyfishes!
Bringing life to the stage is a fusion of Annika’s sweet mermaid and animal pals. The ship’s steering wheel and starfishes on the floor completed this whimsical sea setup.
For the tables, a combination of Japanese paper lanterns made to look like jellyfishes paired with tiny mermaid standee and fresh blooms gave off a fresh vibe.
Sugarplum Pastries never fail to amaze us. The details on the cake and desserts were everything. I can even see the suckers on the octopus’ legs!
Annika’s dessert spread was as equally charming as everything else. The sweets were all on point up to the nitty-gritty. I’m sure their guests had a blast choosing which dessert to try first.
Here are the mermaids from Madison Events entertaining Annika’s guests with their beautiful voices.
No one is indeed happier than the birthday family on this remarkable day.
