When you say jungle safari party the first image that comes to my mind will be a party featuring tons of jungle animals, animal prints and bright, bold colors, right? But with Dianne Khu Designs as the event stylist, well, there’s another fun side of the jungle we need to explore. Based on some of her best parties I’ve featured, it’s safe to say that she enjoys giving her clients – and even us – the unpredictable. She tends to surprise me with her choice of elements which are far from the usual concepts we have grown to love. Updating the classic children’s party themes one party at a time, she leaves me wondering – “What’s next?”
From chevrons, polka dots and stripes, Dianne even goes as far as using offbeat tones but don’t you worry because I’m sure you’ll still be able to spot your favorite jungle animals throughout the party – modernized or not. Better brace yourself because things are about to get interesting thanks to Jaime of Tiny Sparks Lifestyle Portraiture who wonderfully captured Satch’s adorable roaring party!
From the entrance, guests were ushered in to Satch’s safari party by, of course, jungle animals. At the entrance stood the giraffe, proud lion and a tropical bird showcased in this gorgeous installation.
Holy cuteness! Would you expect that by combining these chic modern details with wild safari elements would equate to such loveliness? Featuring different shades and patterns along-side 3D life-size zebra, giraffe, tiger and more tropical bird, the whole set looks spiffy! Dianne certainly made the right choice and wonderfully gave this theme a remarkable unique twist. I also love the soft glow the 1st birthday sign and lighted marquee letters spelling the celebrant’s name gave to the setup.
Aside from green and orange paper lanterns – the main color theme of this party – these animal silhouettes suspended at the ceiling made sure that every part of the venue was flawlessly related to the theme.
For the table setup, they used miniature animals spray painted in gold with a touch of greens as table centerpiece. The gold details injected chicness to the set while the use of the greens bring it back to the heart of the theme – jungle.
To make their kiddie table area look fun, dotted paper plates, cups and table napkins were used. They also have coloring activities for them to enjoy before the party start.
They sure know how to play with prints and hues and translate them into oh-so-yummy sugar art. Different patterns in green and orange embellished with different animal silhouettes made Satch’s cake looks charming in every way.
Calling all party animals check this out! Satch’s delightful dessert tablescape made me wild with excitement. Filled with delightful edible treats, they stunningly decorated each and every cupcake and sugar cookie. Oh, I also love those cute party hats the animals are wearing, it screams “Party! Party!” to me.
Because it is imperative to make sure that every detail complements the theme, see their buffet table setup.
Guests were invited to seat down and take a photo or two in this tastefully decorated photo-op area. Also having the same mismatched pattern with the theme of their choice, I must say that the end result looks quite refreshing. We can also see some of Satch’s baby memorabilia in this area.
Flooch’s captivating magic show and fun games filled the party with laughter and excitement.
Satch’s party giveaways are not only cute but also functional – neck pillows in different jungle animals.
Here’s baby Sachiel all dressed up and ready to
explore the wild party.
