I love documenting my children’s different milestones. That’s why every year I make it a point to have their pictures taken professionally (read: decent shots). For me, these are priceless treasures – a once in a lifetime moment, thus I treat it as investment. If you’re a mom yourself, I know you’ll agree with me on this. But having these photos taken by professional photographers or by ourselves is our own prerogative, of course. Either way, it’s good to have something to hold on to as they grow up.
My son, Aedan, celebrated his first birthday last March 13. It’s been a crazy week for me but I’m glad everything went well. I’m so excited to share with you his first birthday party pretty soon but for the meantime, here are some of his pre-event photos.

This set was taken a couple of weeks before his big day. One of Ging Lorenzo’s forte is outdoor photoshoot. With only less than an hour session, I was surprised to see lots of fantastic photos from her. I love the vibrancy of her shot and how she captured the candid moments. I wonder how much it would cost to have my family pictures taken. It’s been a long while since we had ours taken in a studio. Can you recommend one who will not charge too high?
