Tropical Flamingo Theme Party Ideas
We have seen a lot of birthday parties that shout their themes out loud. The louder, the better it is… or so we thought. See how With A Flourish put an elegant spin on a tropical pink flamingo-themed party for Vivienne’s 1st birthday. Every inch of space exuded chicness and fun, with pastel colors perfectly complimenting the dark hues normally used to bring tropical vibes to the party.
As guests walked in to the venue, they were greeted by pink flamingos surrounded by all kinds of greenery that made them feel like they were transported to a different island. I love those pastel painted leaves that instantly gave a soft girly touch to the setup.
When you look up at the ceiling you will be completely enveloped by the warm colors of the paper lanterns. Mixing orange with the different shades of pink, as well as the cascading golden leaves gives the ceiling a more vibrant visual.
The stage was decorated with strategically placed rattan furniture made to look like a laid back lounge. Hand-painted native Vigan jars, a wooden barrel, and of course, the pink flamingos themselves plus other decorative elements were used to tie the stage together with the tropical theme.
Chic meets chill as green plants and pink flowers topped the pastel tables creating a vivid color centerpieces. Check out the life-sized flamingo!
This cake is a tropical wonderland! The edible flowers which adorned Vivienne’s pastel-accented two tier cake looks so real while those cute tropical fruits details made this cake almost too adorable to eat!
Now, there were a lot of desserts, and they all looked simply stunning! The sugar cookies and French macarons by Vanilla Bakery Cafe were such a feast for both the eyes and the mouth. I’ve never seen Monstera Deliciosa shaped cookies before but I think I’ll start to look for them wherever I go because as the name says, they were deliciosa.
What a cutie! Little Vivienne had a splendid time in her 1st birthday party, and I’m sure all of her guests did, too.
