Nautical Theme Party Ideas
“Ahoy! It’s a boy!” was the official chant during a gathering of family and dearest friends for a baby shower honoring Thalia and James. It was a small private party, but everyone was genuinely thrilled about the coming of the newest folk. The captain of the ship who initiated this celebration was no other than James’ big sister, Ms. Bea Alonzo. To carry out this nautical themed party, Party Doll Manila Events went all out on putting together a team to organize every single detail of the event. Without further ado, let me share with you how fun-filled the celebration had been through the photos that Nice Print Photography captured.
A sign announcing the little one’s gender greeted the guests upon their entry.
Awaiting them was this gorgeous garden setup by Dhianne Khu Events. The blue, red and white motif complimented the warm and cozy vibe of the patio. No lighting needed when your ceiling is the sky.
This IG-worthy backdrop entails every item necessary to sail. Taking the limelight were the light house, wheel and compass in one spot. And of course, what is the ocean life without the waves?
What we love about Dianne Khu Designs is their knack for teeny-tiny elements when it comes to styling. The tables were meticulously arranged for a playful yet homey feel. The combo of small items such as the starfish, white seaweed centerpiece and red flowers was a perfect way to give off a chic yet fresh ambiance.
Before the games took off, a dose of sugar is required for an extra amount of energy to enjoy some amusement. Sweet Creations by Mum took care of this by preparing these adorable pastries for everyone to grab. A three-tier marine inspired cake matched with macaroons, cake pops, cupcakes, chocolate covered oreos, sugar cookies and rice crispies were not just tasty but are also eye candies!
Check out The Creamery Catering’s gorgeous setup which feature some of their best sellers – Sisig tacos, kare-kare pasta, chicken bbq and of course, their champorado and puto bumbong brulee cups.
It’s time to burn those carbs and sweets that the fellas had in their systems. Bayani had some support coming from his beautiful wife while working hard on that drawing. The boys dropped the beers for the mean time to experience being a baby in a race to finish up those milk in their bottles.
There was a downpour of blessings for baby Santi from family and friends who are all eager for his birth. The couple opened some of the gifts which were from the people closest to their hearts.
The soon-to-be lolo Bayani (hehe) sharing his well-wishes for the couple.
They also have this charming nook for those who want to take more souvenir photos of this sweet event. PS: Here’s Party Doll Manila herself, Ms Jo-anne together with Ms Dianne of Dianne Khu Designs and Ms Michelle of The Creamery Catering.
To express their gratitude, Thalia and James gave away these lovely pillows and water bottles by Smugzle for everyone to take home.
Here are some of our favorite photos of Thalia and James.
Special thanks to Ms Bea Alonzo for trusting our team!
