Everyone shout “¡Ole!” as we join Rayn in celebrating her first birthday and dedication, chic Mexican style! Siesta is a no-no at this fiesta, what with all the delightful party details just waiting to be captured in photos. Veering away from the signature vibrant colors of a Mexican celebration, this party was colored in soft hues of pastels, making it more dainty and charming. Mexican staples such as sombrero, maracas and piñatas were incorporated into the design as well, making this an almost-authentic Latino party. Different kinds of succulents had set the Mexican mood, while colorful flora provided the chic ambiance. The Party Project Manila deserves a “¡Salud!” for curating such a gorgeous styling. Thanks to Cradles for these lovely snaps.
Designed by watercolor pastels, the invites looked fresh and chic.
The party hasn’t started yet, but señoritos and señoritas were already treated to some goodies. Quick bites and hair accessories with sombrero details were handed out to excite the little guests.
Amigos y amigas were greeted at the entrance by Rayn’s info board, which featured the same design as the invites. Flanked by some colorful flowers and a cute piñata, this little area sure gave guests a promising glimpse of what’s in store for them.
The ceiling was decorated with colorful lanterns for some playful vibe. But what really gave it character were the Rayn’s personalized papel picados, a Mexican folk art made out paper which was cut with intricate designs. Pretty cool, right?
Rayn’s main area was party perfect. One could never have imagined a better fusion of Mexican and chic. Details like the sombreros, guitars, cacti and papel picados made the area true to the theme, but having them in pastels made them all really adorable. I especially love the floral background, which gave texture and oomph to the whole setup.
There simply is no scarcity of cute festoons at this party. Tables were brightened up with the same pastel-colored Mexican elements. There were “Wishes for Rayne’s” card provided for the guests to fill up! That’s a surefire way to inject fun before the party starts, and an instant memento for Rayn as well.
When it comes to confectionery masterpieces, one really has to hand it down to Sugarplum Pastries. The 3-tier cake was a sight to behold: it was a culinary art that perfectly intertwines flavor, texture, and in this case, culture. Definitely gave a whole lot of meaning to the term ‘character cake’, don’t you think?
To say that the sweets station is Pinterest-perfect would be an understatement. These treats are just too pretty to eat! The sweet paradox is that guests may have wanted to skip the buffet table just to have a quick bite of these delights.
Party-goers got to don their sweetest smiles at this photo area. Adorable pompoms, medallions and florals spruced up the background. Now those are some ‘paperwork’ that one doesn’t have mind having! Bordering the area are some of Rayn’s cute photos as well.
Ant’s Pockets and Provenance 1800 provided out-of-the-box take home treats. Personalized key chains and make-your-own jewelry? Sounds pretty neat to me! Not only that, but guests also get to take home some cute little succulents.
Guests were also treated with yummy snacks and fun games.
Rayn is such a cutie little chiquita! Here she is with her familia hermosa.
