Tribal Woodland Theme Party Ideas

The party inspirations just keep coming! But we’re not complaining; in fact, we’re delighted to share something we did last year. Ziggy’s first birthday bash had a woodland theme but with a tribal twist. The Party Project Manila team had as much fun styling the event as we did planning it. Take a look at these photos from Pram & Cradle to see what we’ve been raving about all this time!

The entrance to the party venue was transformed into something whimsical, as the charming standee of chief Ziggy and a furry fox friend hiding in the bushes welcomed the guests.

Up above, the ceiling was bedecked in an explosion of colors and décors. Japanese lanterns, tassels, and strings of paper cutouts are attached to the ceiling, creating a very playful party atmosphere.

We squealed with delight when we saw the photo-op installation! With the cute woodland critters joining the scene, the lovely nook was extremely Instagram-worthy.

A mini-gallery has been set up to display photos of Ziggy as he marked a few life milestones.

The stage was an awesome ensemble of Ziggy’s charming tribe of furry and feathery friends. We’re loving the soft-hued palette, wonderful details (spot the teepee, campfire, and logs!), and overall vibe of the setup.

Every table had a teepee as a centerpiece, along with an incredibly cute woodland companion.

Of course, there’s a separate area for kids to sit, and it definitely looked more fun! A wooden picnic table was big enough to seat four people, and there were goodie bags and activities at each spot to keep the VIPs entertained.

Ziggy’s birthday cake, created by Sweet Creations by Mums, was a show-stopper. The attention to detail is incredible – just look at the colors, characters, and other things that match perfectly with the theme.

The dessert buffet was brimming with sugar cookies, chocolate-covered Oreos, rice Krispies, French macarons, cakepops, and cupcakes, all of which were artistically adorned. The fantastic nook’s setup also wowed us just as much as the scrumptious options!

What’s a party without a show, right? Host Flooch kept the energy up, while Tectonix performed an amazing balloon twisting show for kids and kids at heart.

At Ziggy’s party, there are plenty of things to keep everyone entertained. Aside from the fun games that take place during the program, there are exciting game booths where guests may win even more great prizes. There’s also a mini-playground if running around is more your thing. After they’ve finished playing, guests can grab some munchies from the food carts!

As a souvenir token, everyone who celebrated with Ziggy received a small gift. They had handcrafted keychain/bag tag keepsakes made on-site by Ant’s Pockets in addition to personalized themed bags and kiddie stools.

Looks like chief Ziggy had a wonderful time celebrating his first birthday with his family and friends. He’s all smiles and looks absolutely dashing!
