Markus’ Japanese Street Fair Themed Party – 1st Birthday

Kon’nichiwa! Japan is known for its colorful and joyous festivals. The reflection of the Japanese’ love for their art and culture is shown on these countless festivals all year-long. They are known for their huge, vibrant and bright floats that never fail to wow the world. These cheerful celebrations inspired Party Magic to bring a Japanese fair theme to Markus’ birthday party. They did a great job bringing a feast with a Matsuri atmosphere all in one setting. Let’s turn on the holiday mood with these photos taken by Starfish Media.

DIY-ed by mommy Janice, Who could say “no” to this adorable invitation? This type of doll has been around for almost two centuries and still makes an amazing ornament not only inside our homes but in parties too!

Invitation

Come and experience the Torii, a traditional Japanese gate, upon entering the party area. History and modern birthday celebration in one!

The red and white ceiling draping and Japanese lanterns are a perfect match for an eye candy recipe! I cannot think of a better color combination that would suit this theme.

How adorable are these dolls guarding the stage? I am in awe about how customary yet fun the stage set up is. I love how Party Magic thought of even the smallest detail when it comes to their parties. Check out those Takoyaki balls-styro props, awesomeness to the next level.

Say hello to these miniature icons taking part on the table. These ramen bowls look yummy but those are actually coin banks! Too cute, noh?

The hands of Sweet Creations by Mums have the most creative ways in expressing love through these desserts. We are more than happy to chomp on these little sumo wrestlers and kokeshi dolls on top of cupcakes, cookies and chocolates. Chomp! Chomp! Chomp!

A magic show is good but a dads’ showdown is even better! Way to go Pops! And of course, this kind of entertainment requires a great food grub. Appreciate these carts full of stuff to nibble!
