Kurucute Military Themed Party – 1st Birthday

Attention! Prepare yourself for a serious dose of action, soldiers! Turning the venue to a party war zone, I’m stoked to see all these camouflage decors taking the spotlight. I find this a great way to honor all the soldiers everywhere for their service – but in a much lighter mood, of course. Although this theme can be very serious because of the very nature behind their heroic acts, Themes InStyle attacked it head on and made sure that every setup captured the theme flawlessly by balancing authentic details with a dash of kid-friendly elements. It really is such a delight to feature a party jam-packed with superb details that give us a whole new experience! Ready to enter Camp Kurucute partyfield?

The fun begins at the entrance as Themes InStyle gave the guests a glimpse of what’s inside the venue.

The best part about their entrance setup is this really amazing photo gallery using nothing but a metal mesh fence! I find it so cool and perfect for the theme because let’s be honest, anything highly stylized or fancy seems off when it comes to this theme.

Heads up, guys! These paratroopers are dropping in to join the fun. For their ceiling, these toy soldiers were used to perfect the military vibes they were aiming for but with a kiddie spin. Also, I like how they put all those cutout green swags against the white ceiling. It certainly gave a camouflage effect without using an actual camouflage cloth. Very clever, indeed!

Soldiers, war tanks, rifles, fuels and sand bags, they certainly go all out with their stage backdrop! Nothing extravagant – with all the huge styro backdrops and bigger than life props – but I honestly think that their setup captured the essence of the theme wonderfully.

Jet fighter toy planes and toy army tanks adorned their table setup and they made perfect centerpieces, too!

This little corner served as their candy buffet station where Kurucute’s 1st birthday cake was wonderfully showcased. Sweet treats all in green, white and brown were used for a more matchy-matchy effect.

Magic show, exciting games, themed game booths and yummy snack carts were present at the party and I’m sure both the kids and adults had a blast!

At the end of the party, kids were honorably discharged and get to bring home these loots.
