Glamorous Purple Theme Party Ideas
We’ve been holding our breath and keeping this close to our hearts, WE SUCCESSFULLY DID OUR FIRST DEBUT! It was crazy / nerve-racking / exciting and definitely everything in between so we’re sharing with you this glamorous gala of our lovely debutante, Julienne. For her milestone, the Champagne Room of Manila Hotel was transformed into a dreamy purple affair by the amazing team from Eventstyles by Kathy King. And because you definitely won’t want to miss anything, Mike Sy Photography did a spectacular job of capturing the best moments as Julienne turned 18.
True to the theme, the invite was made in purple with silver foil lettering. To make her shine brighter than the rest, Julienne had sparkling shoes and earrings as accessories.
What would a debutante be without her stunning ball gown? It was a gorgeous shade of purple that beautifully treads the gray spectrum as the light hits it, done with a fully embellished bodice and illusion neckline that highlighted Julienne’s slender frame.
The Manila Hotel’s Champagne Room is known for its opulent decor, so to play around with this, layers of lovely flowers and candles welcomed the guests.
At the entrance, one of the famed crystal palm trees was surrounded by gorgeous flowers for a remarkable display. We must admit, it was truly a piece de resistance befitting for a lovely lady!
There were no life-sized standees or elaborate set-ups but the focal point of the room isn’t easy to miss. With a large led screen as background, the gilded, plush throne chair was to seat and honor the beautiful celebrant.
Glittering fairy lights filled the tables. Mind you, those are just embellishments but still ethereal. What was truly breathtaking was the splendid pink and purple floral arrangement of roses, hydrangeas, and tulips that adorned each surface. It was a sit-down affair filled with sumptuous fare in keeping with the night’s elegant fete.
Julienne’s cake was a chic, three-tiered creation trimmed with purple roses. Take a step back and marvel at the intricately magnificent set-up of tulips, roses, and hydrangeas, and candles in tasteful shades of mauve, lavender, and violet.
Thanks to the hosting prowess of Shahein Abraham, the night’s program progressed smoothly.
Just like the princess in any ball, Julienne was all glammed up for her once-in-a-lifetime celebration. With all eyes on her, she is definitely the star of the night. When she made her grand entrance, Julienne was escorted by her brother.
The occasion isn’t complete without the traditional 18 candles, where special women close to the debutante shared a few well-meaning life advises to guide Julienne in her journey.
Another highlight of the night, of course, is the 18 roses. 18 handsome gentlemen danced with our lovely debutante.
Amidst great food and hearty laughter, beautiful music also filled the hall as guests and performers serenaded everyone in attendance.
With their soothing voices and guitar strings, the lovely and talented Majam sisters gave a heartfelt performance for Julienne.
As token for sharing and celebrating this momentous event, guests brought home these nifty selfie ring lights for their smartphones. What a nice way to keep up with the young vibe!
The night wouldn’t be a success without the warm and loving presence of Julienne’s friends and family. We know that she will treasure each and every moment during her sweet soiree.
Since it’s our first ever debut, we just had to take a photo with the lovely debutante and her supportive family.
