One of the most interesting parties I’ve seen to date, Yana’s colorful birthday fête has different traditional Dutch elements wonderfully infused into her birthday party. Filled with only the most festive colors, prints and patterns, it’s pretty clear that they have done their homework and researched everything there is about this theme. From the yummy treats, tulips galore and the distinctive vibrant buildings, I also like how the “free market” concept was somehow added in to Yana’s party. Styled by Indy of She Dreams in Ink, well, she always manage to show us something cool with her quirky and fun creativity. Making sure that there will be no shortage of adorableness in this party, expect a chock-full of cute details greeting us in every turn around the venue. Ready for a fun explosion of colors and details? Yes, please!
Welcome to Yana’s party and what perfect way to greet their guests than this cute Dutch maid standee looking oh-so-adorbs.
Their stage setup features some of the most well-known elements connected with this theme – windmill, colorful façade of buildings and of course, more tulips. I love how this setup instantly gives off a cheery and festive feel.
For any Dutch party to be complete, the color orange must be present. To some, it’s all about orange, orange and more orange. But just to give us a pretty palette to work with, I think the added bright blue details seen throughout the venue gives more of a pop.
In lieu of fresh tulips, I love how they played with papers. A fun touch in Yana’s party, these darling papercraft centerpieces gave a lovely flair. Even their table runners were made to match with the theme.
Because these yummy and charming sweet treats can capture my attention in an instant, I love that they added some traditional Dutch goodies to boot. From stroopwafels, some cheeses and other Dutch snacks to these adorable looking cupcakes and sugar cookies, everything looks mighty fine to me. Even Yana’s cake looks awesome, as well.
This is where the free market concept comes in. With loads of different party favors to give away to their guests, the lovely wooden products of Stash by Pinwheel Crafts fits in perfectly. There’s the cheese yoyos, Dutch house pencil holders and coin banks. They also have the windmill bookstoppers to complete the lineup! Yana’s guests were in for a real treat. Love it!
Check out Yana in her darling Dutch maid outfit with her gorgeous mom and dad having their snaps taken at the photo op area.

Love this birthday party! Where did you get the table cloth and the dutch buildings/windmill?
