I am proud to admit that I’m a huge bookworm so it’s only natural that I love parties that bring different stories to life. For starters, you can never go wrong with adding literary charm to your little one’s big day. You can go from whimsical fete to playful bash, from dreamy soiree to adventurous party, there are lots of different stories for you to choose from. For today’s feature, this baptismal celebration was inspired by one of the most well-loved Beatrix Potter’s books – The Tale of Peter Rabbit. A theme that is full of mischief and lots of fun, Thirdie’s party captured this theme wonderfully. The team of With A Flourish filled the party with charming details from the entrance to the table setup to the desserts! They made sure that the theme can be seen in every corner of the party – such a sweet soiree indeed.
Guests were greeted by this wonderfully styled entrance setup. I sure hope that those fresh vegetables were not from Mr. McGregor’s garden.
This gorgeous installation was made more special by Thirdie’s photos. I love how they used different illustrations and pages from the book as embellishment. This is an easy peasy and effective way to incorporate the theme to the setup.
For their main backdrop, it’s a good thing that they chose a simple yet super charming setup because I think it added an extra dose of charm to the party. From Peter Rabbit and Jemima Puddle-Duck standees to those garden fresh produce and a book scene added at the back, it’s like the whole set jumped right out of the book!
If you think that you’ve seen everything this party has to offer, check out their table centerpieces. Everything looks oh so delightful! Bringing together these different deets added a wonderful display of colors to their table setting. From the potted succulents, delicate baby’s breath and more veggies, they also tossed in some Peter Rabbit-inspired toys to give fun playful vibes.
Sweetness galore! Thirdie’s dessert spread make me want to stuff my face with lots and lots of sugary treats. From his adorable cake to those themed cupcakes and sugar cookies, I’m sure all the guests enjoyed choosing a treat or two from this dessert tablescape. I mean just look at those cupcakes topped with edible fondant veggie topper, how cute are those babies?
Here’s the little cutie, Thirdie with his lovely parents.
