Soliesse Kokeshi Doll Themed Party – 1st Birthday

A dose of chicness graces our very lovely day coz Sisi’s Kokeshi doll themed party is just too fabulous for words! Filled with absolute gorgeousness in every turn, I myself wouldn’t have it any other way. It’s beyond doubt that Kokeshi theme party is one of the cutest themes for a party and when showered with lots of lovely handmade details? It’s a sight to behold! Just take a look at Sisi’s party and I’m sure you will agree with me 100%.

Here’s a little inside scoop on how Mommy Wett prepared this fantastic celebration as told by Pauline of Whimsy+Chic Invites:

“The celebrant and the whole family lived in the United States for quite some time now. For Sisi’s first birthday, they decided to come home to Cagayan de Oro City to celebrate this special milestone with family and friends here and have a relaxing vacation, too!

Sisi’s mom, Wett and I, knew each other from way back. Sharing her excitement and love for details, we constantly messaged each other thru Facebook. Although event styling is already flourishing in Manila, it is still uncommon here in our City. Despite their location, Mommy Wett was very hands-on while planning Sisi’s party and she even decided not to have party planners and organizers.

Seeing some of my work in facebook, Mommy Wett asked me to make Kokeshi Doll invites and table centerpieces crafted from paper for Sisi’s party while my friend and business partner, Pompoms + Buntings, styled the candy buffet. This is Pompoms + Buntings and Whimsy + Chic Invites first and biggest commissioned project yet.”

I’m so in love with Sisi’s intricate 3D Kokeshi Doll invitation! These lovelies doubled as their centerpiece, too! Nice!
