There’s a special delivery in store for us today! Another first here in Party Doll Manila, this lovely theme makes me one happy blogger. You know how much I love it when there’s a new theme popping in my email from time to time – it stirs the creativeness in all of us and give us more inspiration for our next bash. So I want to take this opportunity and give this virtual fist bump to Diannu Khu Designs for sharing Sab’s uber adorable Stork delivery-themed party.
With a charming theme to begin with, I must say, I’m quite smitten seeing all the wonderful details all around the venue. In European folklore, storks are associated with delivering babies that’s why this theme is normally used in baby showers. However, today Dianne Khu Designs will show us how this theme works perfectly fine with other life’s celebration as well. With a touch of whimsy, a dash of prettiness, everything about this party is just too adorable for words. From the mint and peach color combination to the hanging details overhead, even Sab’s cake and dessert spread were oozing with so much cuteness. What are we waiting for? Come see what the stork delivered!
The guests were greeted with this lovely entrance display. Bringing together these carefully curated deets, the whole set looks extra chic. Spotted different chalkboard arts in the installation featuring Sab’s baby infos, event hashtag and a little ‘seating’ reminder, the huge stork at the side made sure that everything was well tied-up with the theme.
Color coordinated paper lanterns and cloud pillows were used as their ceiling decors but the hanging stork carrying a baby totally got my attention. I like how Dianne cleverly incorporated an actual cloth at its beak. Little detail like this makes a huge difference, if you ask me.
For their main stage setup, I love how they chose a more subtle yet pretty installation. Using mint wooden bench where the family and friends can sit and take souvenir snaps, the peach arrangement showcasing their party theme – Stork delivery – was perfectly situated at the back.
Ohhh…how cute is their table centerpiece? More storks were seen from table to table. To complete the look, fresh flowers and miniature baby thingamajigs were also used. Perfect!
Sab’s cake… *sighs* This lovely 2-tier cake by Sugarplum Pastries grabs attention with its swoon-worthy details. It radiates fun and girlyness rolled into one terrific cake. I love how clean all the elements look.
There’s a special delivery for Sab’s guests – lots and lots of sweet treats! Sugar cookies shaped in different baby essentials such as baby bottle, onesis, bib and tiny feet, cakepops and stork-themed cupcakes for everyone to devour.
They also prepared these plants for guests to take home as a simple token of thanks for attending Sab’s special day.
