It has been exactly one year since the birth of a darling little girl named Rafiela. To her mom and dad, she is a blessing far greater than anything this world could give. They celebrated their daughter’s 1st birthday with the gift of baptism and a Boho chic party that’s truly one for the books. Styled by Deiz filled the place with all things dainty and sweet! Elegance with a touch of rustic charm, Rafi’s invitations come in paper doily envelopes tied with burlap twine. Customized for her baptism, the candles are wrapped in jute twine at the bottom, and, using the symbol for virtue and purity, each candle has dainty white silk ribbons neatly tied around it.

Some babies get fussy during baptismal rites, but not Rafi who behaved like an angel all throughout the half-hour or so at the Santuario de San Jose Parish in Greenhills. Her ninangs and ninongs must have found her quite adorable!

The team from Styled by Deiz just let their creative juices flow! At the reception, they prettified the entrance using a free-standing pergola with flowing peach drapes and adorned it with bouquets of roses and peonies. Dried broom reeds added the perfect Bohemian feel. A column of peach, pink, and mint green balloon garland on one side of the pergola complemented the pastel color scheme in this ensemble. Rafi’s lovely growing-up photos were also shared for guests to see.

Delicere’s outdoor garden was transformed into a pastel-colored boho wonderland with peach and pink buntings and strings of paper ball lanterns crisscrossing overhead. Under this canopy of loveliness is an amazing setup with Rafi’s name and a number 1 marquee light set on a pastel backdrop. The Boho chic vibe will not be complete without a teepee or two, some macrame wall hanging, and dream catchers.

Following health protocols, acrylic barriers were installed on the tables so guests can enjoy the food and the company in relative safety. Pretty peonies and roses arranged in pink glass bottles adorned the tables. Even with the barriers, the tables still look elegant and shabby chic.

Rafi blew the candle on a pair of cakes iced with white Italian meringue buttercream frosting. A Boho rainbow sitting on clouds makes a perfect cake topper. Finally, some pink and yellow macarons added a pop of color on this splendid cake from Cabcakes.

Rafi’s mom and dad pulled out all the stops so that guests, especially the young ones, enjoyed flavored French fries from Potato Corner, luscious donuts from Krispy Kreme, the cold, yummy goodness of traditional sorbetes and more treats from Gaudencio’s Café.

Rafi’s young guests have front seats to the show hosted by a very high-energy magician, Flooch. The children joined the games with enthusiasm and the magic fire tricks were astounding! The excitement continues with a masterful bubble show by Magical Entertainment by Chicco. Even the daddies in the audience join in on the fun, pulling some prizes from the “pabitin” and breaking the piñata. And that’s not all – Rafi’s parents arranged for entertainment focused on the adult members of the crowd with live music by the Naughty Pandas and K-Strum Acoustic.

Artisan soap, hand-crafted with the best organic materials, were lovely giveaways to thank the guests for their company on this special day.

What a beautiful, young family! Mommy and daddy are “matchy-matchy” in white outfits while Rafi changed from her white baptismal gown from Heirloom by Veluz to her reception dress. The 1-year-old fashionista dazzled in her pretty coral dress created for her by Spinkie. Her outfit includes a pair of Zara shoes and a matching headpiece by Loveutsukushihana. She will certainly be a head-turner like her mom when she grows up!
