This birthday party doesn’t bug me at all! Our little cocoon turned one and chose cutie-crawlies for his theme. Featuring one of Baby TV’s cutest show, Big Bugs Band will have you tapping to the sound of their infectious upbeat gig in no time. Making sure that no ickyness is involved in this party, event stylist Dianne Khu Designs showered Nicco’s party with only the most colorful and adorable details in line with this theme. Ready to join Nicco and his Big Bugs Band? I know I am.
Here’s what Dianne has to say about Nicco’s birthday party:
“I realized, intimate, unique, clean, and fresh has been becoming my cup of tea for parties. I like how we were able to incorporate a fun colorful theme to a posh, modern venue such as Romulo’s. Albeit simple and small, we were able to capture what (to most people are unaware of) BabyTV’s Big Bugs Band is all about. It’s all in the bug-small details!”
Giving their guests a glimpse of what to expect inside N’s party, this wonderfully arranged welcome area greeted their guests. Complete with a picket fence and some musical instruments surrounding it; I like how it gave us the perfect backyard vibes similar to the show.
What an eye candy! Green and yellow are the perfect colors for the fresh feel of nature and the touch of light blue emphasized the color of a baby boy. Accentuated with different elements together, from Nicco’s different baby photos to the Big Bugs band themselves, the candy buffet area and N’s huge cake sits perfectly at their main backdrop.
The table was long with a minimalist design. I like how Dianne made the centerpiece and arrangement of utensils extra fun and youthful using those adorable-looking deets. The colorful flowers are edible just what the cute little critters would want! Yum!
The cake is so adorable. Of course, there’s a big number 1 but it’s cute how it was patterned as a mushroom making it more charming than usual. See how Baby Nicco enjoyed it? This is one of my favorite photos of Nicco at the party.
This inviting little nook here served as their photo-op area.
Here’s Nicco and his loving parents.
