Attention DIY-ers and Arts & Crafts junkies, here’s a party that will surely tickle your fancy! Roll up your sleeves and get your creative juices flowing because Meghan’s Arts and Crafts party will give us dozens of fun ideas and inspirations to enjoy. I love their idea of having a CRAFTernoon party, it’s hassle-free and most of all, guests will definitely have a great time unleashing their creativity to make their very own MASTERPIECES. Aside from birthday parties, I think this will also be a great bonding activity during bridal showers and baby showers. (Tip: To make this party gender neutral, you can add a “decorate your own” activity booth such as kiddie stools, boxes and bird houses.)
Hosted by Hey Kessy, Meghan’s sweet sixteen CRAFTernoon party is undeniably fun and out of the box. Covered by Den Llanos Dee Photography, I love how every party detail was wonderfully captured.
Adding a little splash of color here and there provided the right amount of flair at the venue. I sure am glad they decided not to focus too much on the decorations. After all, guests were very engrossed in their own works of art.
For their crafts table a.k.a work space, I like how they put a personal touch to it by using paper cut-outs attached to the craft kit of the guests. These name tags were creatively done by I Love DIY.
Different coloring materials were provided by Hey Kessy to ensure these budding artists have everything they need.
Activities such as stamp making and design your own tote bag kept the guests busy and entertained the whole time.
Hey Kessy made this special paper cut-out topper for Meghan’s cake. It might look simple to others but for me, it’s amazing and I love it! And when they cut the cake, Ombré! (See my Ombré party décor post here).
Here’s Meghan and her friends who clearly had a blast.

The CRAFTernoon concept is really nice. It’s a great way to engage the guests rather than just let them sit and eat in their tables. 🙂
