Hello, loves! Here’s another rockin’ party brought to us by the amazing duo of Party Magic. This event held so much fab details, every Beatles fan will certainly love. Using a lot of hippie-colored elements at every corner of the venue, they even got some old school memorabilia to completely seal the deal. I hope to see this in a children’s party setting really soon, I bet it’ll be so cool as well. Known to embrace quirky, non-traditional party themes, I’m amazed how Party Magic continue to give us something different each time. ♪ All you need is love ♫ love love love ♪
Here’s Michelle of Party Magic sharing some of her thoughts on Jeffrey’s party:
“After doing a handful of children-centered themes, it’s sometimes refreshing to mix in some adult parties once in a while! The client (who also happened to be my friend), Jiselle, wanted to throw an awesome 60th birthday party for her dad, Jeffrey. The theme: Beatles! This was a real fun theme to play around with, so I immediately rolled up my sleeves and dove to the challenge.
There are a number of ways to do a Beatles theme; one is to focus on the band’s more serious, melancholic, and rebellious aspect (think about their songs Imagine, or Revolution), which is not at all bad actually. But since it was me doing it, we did it the Party Magic way: fun, colorful, quirky, cool, and psychedelic! Think of Come Together, or Penny Lane.”
I’m glad that they’ve decided to have a clean and direct to the theme approach with regards to their venue setup but nonetheless got a resounding party-concert vibe.
I’m loving all those vinyl record-ish details in their ceiling setup. An easy and fun way to add more color and charm to the party.
For their stage setup, they got their inspiration from one of The Beatles actual concert stage and added some twist by showcasing some of their memorabilia. To make Jeffrey’s party more special they even got the Reo Brothers to perform some of The Beatles favorites live on stage!
Small guitars, mini replicas of the band’s drum and some colorful bottles adorned their tables.
Check out Jeffrey’s birthday cake made by Tazzy Cake. I looove their adorable sculpted toppers!
Here are some drool-worthy sweet treats by Simply Paris. Check out their labels, what a fun way to incorporate some of the Beatles song. From Penny lane pistachio opera to the cute yellow submarine eclairs and hey jude blue cheesecakes, everything looks yum.
They wanted a more laid-back feel for their photo op setup hence “the band room” idea.
