Each little girl seems to be smitten by Lalaloopsy these days.
Lalaloopsy dolls are bright and colorful rag dolls with eyes made from cute buttons and hair made of yarns. What makes it interesting is each Lalaloopsy doll has its own appearance, home, pet and personality. Their personality was based on the fabric used to make/sew them. So girls can choose from a variety of Lalaloopsy dolls and collect them since they are so adorable . You can read all about them here.
What I love about these Lalaloopsy themed parties are the explosion of bright colors and cute girly details that brings out the “little girls” in us.
Special thanks to Abby for sharing her DIY Lalaloopsy themed party with me. (All the way from Las Vegas Nevada, USA) Here’s what she has to say about planning this sew cute party:
“We’ve been collecting Lalaloopsy dolls for months and since my daughter is so into anything Lalaloopsy, we have decided to throw her a Lalaloopsy themed party for her 4th birthday.
For the table centrepiece, we used Lalaloopsy dolls, DIY picture frames decorated with colorful buttons, and assorted lollipop arrangement with polka dots balloons.
(Left) Prairie Dusty Trails is a cute cowgirl with an adorable little sister,Trouble Dusty Trails.(Middle) Scarlet Riding Hood is a young girl who is based on the fairy tale Little Red Riding Hood. (Right) Pickles B.L.T. is a Lalaloopsy based on a retro style waitress.
For the dessert spread, we had a 1 tier chocolate cake with fondant Lalaloopsy doll topper, cupcakes with fondant buttons, and some swirl and solid red velvet cakepops. For additional cake table decoration, we used my DIY buntings and name banner.
(Cake Topper) Smart and brainy, Bea Spells-a-Lot just loves to read and talk with her friends.
Our giveaways are bubble gum machines for the adult guests and beach pails with goodies for the kids.
We also had a photo booth set-up for our guests to enjoy
Overall it was a success! Our guests loved everything about the party despite the fact that it was a DIY party :)”
Congratulations to Daddy Elmer and Mommy Abby for this Oh Sew Magical! and Oh Sew Cute! Party. Happy 4th Birthday, Francheska!
