Anika’s Cute as a Button Lalaloopsy Themed Party – 1st Birthday

I’m so in La-la-love with Anika’s Lalaloopsy themed party! This by far is one of the prettiest Lalaloopsy themed party I’ve ever seen. Sending hugs and kisses to Mommy Claire for sharing this ultra chic party with me all the way from Singapore.

Mommy Claire started planning Anika’s 1st birthday party 5 months in advance. For this party, they’ve decided to emphasize more on Lalaloopsy’s sewing elements which are buttons, yarns and spools. Mommy Claire is very happy and proud to have The Events Studio by Gideon Hermosa as their stylist because well, he really did an awesome job! Everything in this party is sew darn cute!

I had a very hard time choosing photos for this showcase since I don’t want to miss sharing any of these lovely details. Most of the party details used were hand made by Mommy Claire and Gideon themselves. So it’s 100% pure love in making Anika’s 1st birthday perfect.

Without further ado… (Warning: Eye candy overload)

DIY oversized button (styro plate) were used all through out the venue

For the centerpiece, they used DIY yarnballs (tutorial here), buttons, spools and a letter A for Anika. These pastel colored elements fits perfectly in every Lalaloopsy themed party.

I have a very soft spot for desserts and Anika’s dessert spread makes me giddy with delight! The table cloth made from different fabric and the hanging pastel colored tassles made this dessert spread extra dainty!

A closer look…I’m super stoked with their cupcakes and the spool shaped cakepops! The details, the details…need I say more?

For the drink station, Mommy Claire DIY-ed not just the label holder made from spools but also the button straws.

Anika’s memorabilia corner is equally dainty as well. Mommy Claire DIY hula hoop was used to hang Anika’s growing up photos. Very clever!

Giveaways galore for their special guests. I love how the names of the kids were hand stitched to the party hats.
