Before I begin, let me just cross out this adorable theme off my party bucket list.
When I first saw some of the wonderful snaps from Brandon and Olivia’s party, I instantly sat a little straighter. First, the party was styled by the awesome Luxe Parties so I’m really looking forward to see lots of beautiful details strategically placed all throughout the venue. Secondly, this is such a cute theme! Who couldn’t relate to such charming theme, really? Thirdly, they got the DLSU pep squad in the house! Yeah, no kidding. How cool is that! I was completely floored when I received the full set that was captured perfectly by the very talented Krissy of Little People Lifestyle Photography. All the details, big and small, were impossibly perfect! I would suggest for you to forget any notion you’ve had about children’s parties because Brandon and Olivia’s Back-to-School themed party just managed to up the ante of children’s party awesomeness.
Here’s Mommy Jenny filling us up with the nitty-gritty of their twin’s A++ birthday bash:
“We wanted a unisex / co-ed theme for the first birthday party of our twin son and daughter. Since their birthday was in June, just in time for the new school year for most kids, we found it fitting to throw a back-to-school themed party.
The back-to-school theme was executed using neutral colors with pops of bright colors like red and yellow. Items associated with school, such as crayons, pencils, blackboards, apples and milk were incorporated into the escort cards, placemats, table embellishments and decors. We prepared art kits for the children’s tables, which contained activity sheets and coloring materials for the kids. The art section featured a paint-your-own tool caddy where the kids were able to decorate their own tool kits. And the adults were given a pop quiz to answer during the party.
Since my husband and I love watching the UAAP basketball games, we also decided to invite the DLSU Pep Squad to bring in the school spirit.”
With bright colors and a brilliant classroom replica stage backdrop complete with all the trappings of an over the top back-to-school themed party, Brandon and Olivia’s party is simply astonishing.
I can’t stress enough how in love I am about all these cute-y details that went into making their table setup a sure winner. It even came complete with an apple, milk and a surprise pop quiz. Oh-uh, I sure hope everyone passed the quiz with flying colors.
Don’t even get me started on how amazing Brandon and Olivia’s cake was or how adorable those cupcakes and sugar cookies were in this oh-so-gorgeous dessert area setup. Which is which? Cuteness or sweetness overload. Definitely both!
Aside from games and magic show, this arts and crafts station made sure Brandon and Olivia’s classmates friends were having a great time. Here’s the DLSU pep squad showing their jaw-dropping stunts.
