Picnic Theme Party Ideas
Who doesn’t love a picnic? Whatever time of the year, it’s always a sure and easy way to liven up the usual family gatherings. For her first birthday, Autumn June and her family created beautiful memories by celebrating with a wonderful picnic-themed party.
With Party Doll Manila Events taking the lead as the party planner, the most critical items on the checklist have been checked off: fabulous visuals, breathtaking entertainment, amazing food, satisfied guests, and, at the top of the list, a happy celebrant. Party Doll Manila tapped only the cream of the crop, partnering with Party Magic PH for their brilliant styling and Cradles for the best photos and videos.
The invites alone spelled out F-U-N so guests would not have missed it for the world.
Flowers speak the language of love, which is why they are often given as gifts to those who are dear and special. At Autumn’s party, flowers were widely used, just like these lovely flower arrangements that provided the guests with a very warm welcome.
Under white ceiling drapes, clusters of balloons interspersed with faux wisteria and lily-shaped lanterns created a magical, dreamlike ambiance.
The stage was a perfectly curated collection of baskets and buckets filled with flowers and greenery, all exuding that shabby chic feel. A picnic table with benches, and even a pie stand, made the picnic vibe feel authentic. To complete this delightful stage, there was a standee of our cutie pie, Autumn June, smiling and waving to her family and friends.
Guests happily struck a pose in this amazing photo nook, which had a teepee with a rug and pillows, as well as buckets and baskets of flowers. Friends on social media would later see what an absolutely incredible time they had.
Everyone enjoyed the picnic fare on tables decked with charming arrangements of tiny white flowers and a white basket filled with Peruvian Lilies and pink Hypericum Berries.
Autumn June blew out the candle on a two-layer cake covered in seamless fondant. Pretty pink and white flowers adorned the bottom layer, while a picnic basket, and some strawberries and watermelon slices made quite the delightful embellishment on the top layer of the cake. A 3D fondant Autumn June made the picture-perfect cake topper.
The guests indulged in a gourmet spread straight from The Creamery’s menu. For an awesome sugar high, artisanal ice cream from Sorbelato was abundant for the taking. Mommies and daddies selected from the various espresso blends by Aurora Coffee Roasters to complement the delicious desserts. Mango Magic provided the most refreshing juices to accompany the delectable selection of food and drinks.
Autumn and her friends made a beeline for the dessert spread, relishing the adorable sugar cookies. A slice of pecan or apple pie proved to be a flawless match with the coffee, making it the perfect end to the delicious feast.
The entertainment was in full swing, much to the delight of the children. With Madz masterfully hosting the show, everyone sat in rapt attention. Tectonix was simply fantastic – who would have thought that Marvel costumes could be created using balloons while showcasing some serious dance moves? And that’s not all; the children were thoroughly delighted with Bubble Show Manila’s joyful frenzy of bubbles. It was truly the best show ever!
Color Play Happy’s activities helped the children simulate preparing the picnic extravaganza with small picnic tables and a collection of PlayDoh, toy food items, and kitchen implements. The pretend play kept the children cheerfully busy for quite some time.

First birthdays are one of the most important of milestone celebrations in our lives. Autumn June and her parents have just ended a chapter with this memorable picnic-themed party, and beginning a new one in this life’s journey which we hope will be blessed with everything that is good.
