And now…I’m 30

” Everything I know I learned after I was thirty.” Clemenceau, Georges

For my 30th birthday (Last July 27, Saturday), I decided to have a simple dinner celebration with my family and close friends. It was held at Greeka Kouzina since I’ve heard they serve great Greek food and it’s near our place. The place was jam-packed, I would strongly advise to be there early to avoid waiting. And yeah, parking is limited.

What we had:

Salad: Fig Roka Salata, Grilled Chicken Souvlaki Salad and Greek Caesar Salad (With Calamari-not in picture)

Main: Arni Lemonato-Roast Lamb (Best Seller), Psari Plaki-Dory Fish, Kotopoulo-Grilled Chicken, Krasates-Pork Chop, and Lamb Shoulder (Not in picture)

“Well, a party without a cake is just a meeting.”  Julia Child.

My first birthday cake was a gift from a very close friend Sheila and her hubby Dennis, It’s a Mango Bravo cake from Conti’s.

My official birthday cake was made by Kriselda Jiao of Sugarplum Pastries. It’s a 9” red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting. Love the design! It captured a perfect portrait of our family. However, we had a slight issue with the flavor of the cake itself.

Over-all, I had a blast! With the birth of my 3rd child last march, the launch of Party Doll Manila and my 30th birthday, truly, this is going to be one memorable year.
