Amara’s Coachella Themed party – 1st Birthday

I am so stoked about this Coachella-inspired shindig! If you are a self-confessed music aficionado, have a love affair with anything bohemian and don a laid back attitude, chances are, you’re going to find nirvana in this boho bash. Chic meets cute, as NY Giftworks spearheads the styling and design. Festival staples such as dream catchers, flower crowns and teepees were used to induce that carefree and relaxed atmosphere. Different shades of pastels tickled the eyes, with lavender and pink at the frontline. Staying true to that distinctive Coachella vibe, Amara’s guests sported their best hipster and boho chic numbers.

Let’s take a peek at this festival party and find the wildflower in us.

VIP passes for all guests! And sans the exorbitant price, too, thank you very much! Everyone is treated to a plethora of goodies even before they got inside. Flower crowns and arm candy wristbands? Check. Boys, don’t fret. There are party tattoos, too. Coolness!

The main area’s charm cannot be contained indoors, so it has to be staged outside for that vibrant and refreshing feel. After all, Coachella is held right under the skies, yes? I just love all the elements in this area. Nothing screams bohemian more than the cute little teepee, and the hipster vibe arrived in the form of a mint kombi. Now, the Coachella skyline wouldn’t be complete without the gigantic Le Grande Wheel, so why leave it out of the main area? Colorful tassels and dream catchers gave a playful and spirited mood.

Picnic tables were spruced up with dainty teepees and miniature versions of the Ferris Wheel. Runners with eccentric patterns added character to the tablescape and greens gave that pop of color. Amara’s baby pictures and personalized place mats and bottle labels amped up the cuteness level.

Amara’s cake was sooo adorable! I wouldn’t even have the heart to cut it, much less eat it! All those cute little dream catchers, the teepee, the little baby darling…be still, my heart!

A dessert spread has become a must at every party nowadays, and Amara’s party has given us more than one reason why this ‘trend’ is here to stay. Not only do they satisfy anyone’s sweet tooth, but these delectables have also channeled their aesthetic flair. Surely, these dreamy treats have been posted on Instagram faster than one can say “yummy!”

Guests were entertained by different fun and amusing fanfares like magic and bubble shows. I’m sure everyone was in awe, especially since Golden Show graced the event. Animal encounters, bohemian dancers, unicyclists….the list of guest treats just never ends.

More happy pills for the guests! Bubble tea, cotton candy and the ubiquitous ice cream. This, together with the dessert spread…..total euphoria!!!

Like the main area, this nook was just bustling with uber cute details! But aside from the Coachella deets, this was extra special because Amara’s keepsakes were showcased in here. Her favorite toys, her best-loved clothes, some cute baby snaps and even her precious christening gown were all displayed. I super love the framed feet and hands impression!

  1. Hi! Where did you find the Ferris wheel or did you have someone construct it for you? I’d love something similar for a Coachella-themed party I’m throwing.
