Daniel Padilla’s Preppy Pool Party – 20th Birthday

When Daniel turned 20 last April, his family and friends knew they would have to combine his love of cars with something that says summer quite like a pool party. The result was a cheerful and bright birthday in aqua, green, and white plus a splashing good time you would hope for in a pool party celebration! DianneKhu Designs and Celebrations Unlimited gladly rose to the challenge when tasked to get into full gear for Daniel’s bash. A few simple, yet creative touches did the trick to make the whole look of the bash youthful, but not babyish or childish. The party was held in a place in Luntala Valle Verde. It provided a superb party location as it features a relaxation pool. Mats were flanked by the pool together with striped outdoor pillows and cushions for comfy floor seating. The colorful swim floats created a festive and fun atmosphere. The watermelon beach balls were perfect to get guests in the mood to make a splash! How fun is that?! Totally worth all the tan lines for a few months! No pool? No problem! Bring a pool home by creating one in your own backyard – set up an inflatable pool or a sprinkler for the kids to splash around in!

I adore the laid-back formality of these blue and white lanterns. They are an excellent way to decorate your space easily and inexpensively.

I love the mix of patterns used for this signature set, and the fresh aqua, and white color scheme! From the green carpet, there is immediately a sense of outdoor in this area. The sofa served as the perfect centerpiece styled up with D marquee letter, balloons and lanterns creatively scattered on the floor, and a framed illustration of Daniel placed on a stool. The monochromatic bunting rocked the backdrop. His name was also displayed for a dramatic visual impact.

I love the variety of textures and elements used on the table to achieve the look they were going for. The use of wooden display pieces and simple glass containers embellished with blooms were the perfect choices for serving up refreshments. The felt plush car, domino, and framed illustration detailing were simple, but effective addition. Each table also served a beverage tank containing lime drink. Sounds enticing, doesn’t it? Guests didn’t have a hard time going back and forth from their seat to the food table. I bet they thought it was so cool!

This black, teal, and white one-tier cake by Sugarplum Pastries stole the show. A fondant convertible car and fondant “20” topped the cake with fondant “D” emblazoned on it.

It’s chow time! First off, the eye-catching backdrop established the theme in a prominent way. Delightful blue wooden corner stands, paired with white table skirt, made perfect display pieces for the delish party food. I love how Daniel’s photo sketch and name cutouts were pinned onto the table skirt. What a fun accent to an already impressive display! Guests also enjoyed the easy-to-snack treats such as fruits, mallows, sour tapes, candies, brownies, nachos, burgers, juice, and soda. Barbecue was also a perfect choice for an outdoor bash. Custom labels made ordinary drinking bottles and utensils extraordinary! I love all the details that went into this soiree!

After party food and festivities, guests went home with great goodies! Each received a Belo soap in a water-proof bag, hand fan, and Daniel’s album! Yes, his album. I’m totally jelly!
