If your little dude exudes an air of preppy-ness then this party theme will fit him perfectly. Celebrating in style is something that will never go out of the loop and Rocco’s Polo themed party got loads of preppy decorations that aced this theme wonderfully. From the color palette down to the polo themed details featuring lots of cutie adornments; I love how everything blended amazingly together that instantly boost the style factor in Rocco’s bash. Styled awesomely by Bliss Collective Celebration & Stylists, get ready to be swept off your feet with a hefty dose of stylishness and charm.
Special thanks to Bliss Collective Team for sharing and spilling all the juicy deets about Rocco’s party:
“Horsin’ Around at Rocco’s 1st Birthday Polo Tournament.
Even when she was pregnant, Nichole had already been planning her son, Rocco’s first birthday party. Nichole wanted a fete that was atypical of most children’s parties: classy and grand, but nothing over-the-top and flashy. And of course, it still had to be a party that the kids would enjoy.
Nichole and hubby Bernard decided to hire the Bliss Collective group to execute her vision. When she sat down with Vanina, the group’s stylist, to work out the party theme, they discovered that they had the same concept in mind: a polo-themed bash. A fortunate coincidence perhaps, but as they say, great minds think alike!
Bliss Collective created an impressive set up that perfectly captured all the essential elements in Nichole’s wishlist: It was whimsical (how adorable are the moss-covered horse centerpieces?), it was tasteful (check out Rocco’s customized crest which was also used on the napkin rings), and boy was it epic! Design highlights include the stage, which showcased life-sized cutouts of two polo players on horseback against a white wooden backdrop that included Rocco’s personal crest. Bliss Collective also used a perfectly dapper palette of green and navy, and worked in other preppy elements into the mix, such as the seersucker flags included in the table centerpieces, the trophy vases, and plaid bowtie-on-a-stick used as a photobooth prop.
Indeed, it was a celebration that was exactly like dashing little Rocco himself: smart, stylish, and absolutely charming!”
The entrance to Rocco’s party showcases a clean and gorgeous collection of different elements. It just shows that no detail is too simple when you “mix and match” it with the right combination.
Same goes with their ceiling treatment. Paper lanterns in green and navy were used to bring color to their ceiling setup. Keeping it simple and classy, tasteful, indeed!
A Polo themed party will never be complete without the silhouette of polo players in action. To make sure they covered all the bases flawlessly, other elements like the trophy, moss-covered horse and Rocco’s personal crest were used to prettify their stage area.
From one stunning setup to the next, their table centerpieces look remarkable, too. Featuring Rocco’s pre-event photo shoot, it’s not a polo themed party unless it got plenty of these must-haves such as horses, blooms and trophy. The moss-covered horse they used through-out the venue is really brilliant. It’s one of the elements that caught my eyes from the very start including the trophy vases, of course.
I’m blown away by Rocco’s luscious dessert tablescape. From one delectable sweet treat to the other, check-out R’s horse and horseshoe sugar cookies plus his personalized cupcakes looks yum. Carefully bringing your attention to Rocco’s adorable cake, the details injected by Tazzy Cakes is nothing but pure awesomeness.
Filled with stuffed horse, lollipop and crayons, these cool-looking boxes served as their party favors.
Here’s the little dapper with his loving parents.
