For Colin James’ first birthday, The Party project Manila brought to life an adorable “Our Little Dumpling” celebration, inspired by everyone’s favorite comfort food and the love shared around family tables.
Soft shades of blue, cream, and warm golden accents transformed the venue into a dreamy dumpling wonderland. From smiling dimsum characters and bamboo baskets to floating clouds and delicate lanterns, every element came together to create a space that felt cozy, cheerful, and full of personality.
Guests were welcomed by a charming entrance filled with pastel balloons, floating clouds, lanterns, and oversized dumpling characters. Personalized signage added a cheerful touch, creating a picture perfect welcome for everyone arriving at the celebration.
Flowing blue drapes transformed the ceiling into a dreamy sky, accented with hanging clouds, lanterns, and smiling dumpling characters. The layered installation added movement and extended the playful concept throughout the venue.
Playful dumpling characters, bamboo baskets, and cloud motifs framed the main stage, while Asian inspired patterns rounded out the design. At the center, Colin James’ personalized backdrop tied the entire look together and served as the focal point of the celebration.
Each table featured charming dumpling inspired centerpieces paired with soft blue accents and delicate florals. The clean, elegant styling balanced the playful elements while creating a warm and inviting setting for guests.
Designed to match the overall look, Colin James’ custom cake featured adorable dumpling characters, delicate cloud details, and soft blue and gold accents. Every tier captured the spirit of the day, making it a delightful centerpiece for his first birthday.
A curated selection of food carts kept guests delighted throughout the celebration. Shanghai Saloon served up delicious dimsum favorites, while Yardstick Coffee offered fresh brews, Chatime served refreshing milk tea, and Famous Belgian Waffles, Potato Corner, and Mang Bert’s added even more treats for everyone to enjoy. The interactive stations added another layer of fun while complementing the food inspired concept.
Laughter and excitement filled the celebration with an afternoon of interactive games and entertainment for guests of all ages. Iankoy kept the energy high as host, leading fun games and engaging activities throughout the program. A captivating magic show brought moments of wonder, while Tectonix’s dancing balloon show added color, movement, and plenty of smiles.
Little guests had their own space to enjoy, with interactive attractions and soft play activities that kept them happily entertained throughout the celebration.
