Candyland Theme Party Ideas
Every child must have spent some time daydreaming about a magical land where candies and ice cream grow on trees that lined the banks of a chocolate milkshake river. For the beautiful 1-year-old Pauline, this fantasy became a dream come true when her mom and dad got Events by Popping Parties to create her very own Candyland to celebrate her birthday. Thanks to Harry Lim Photography and Bella Morcen Films, Pauline and her family will be able to enjoy a walk down memory lane to this very special day.
It probably felt like an exciting trip to a theme park when the first thing that greeted the guests’ eyes were giant marshmallow twists, ice cream cones, cupcakes, and peppermint candy canes under a rainbow arch of pastel-colored balloons. One couldn’t help but imagine what dessert was going to be like inside this party.
Pauline’s outdoor celebration was the most ideal. Guests enjoyed the cool breeze and an invigorating view of the trees under the shade of the Lakefront Tent. A canopy of baby pink, powder blue, and lavender drapes, coupled with clusters of balloons and some paper lanterns provided that pervading feeling of being up in the clouds.
What a fantastic stage design! All around the castle were giant sweet treats like the marshmallow twists we saw at the entrance. Legend has it that there is a treasure at the end of the rainbow; in Pauline’s Candyland, it was a colossal cake at the end of a dazzling candy-colored rainbow.
The tables were clothed in the same colors as the rest of the installation. As the centerpiece, a miniature castle was placed on each table.
Pauline’s friends were seated at a table near the stage. They had a cute candy-themed activity sheet that they could color and play tic-tac-toe with as a placemat.
Pauline blew out the candles on this five-tier Candyland castle cake, which featured spires and battlements similar to those seen on stage. The magic is always in the details with Sweet Creations by Mums! The joy of Candyland is replicated in a delightful sweet feast garnished with beautiful cupcakes, lemon drops, pinwheel cookies, peppermint lollipops, and candies made entirely of fondant.
Every sweet tooth at the celebration was enticed by the dessert bar. Who could say no to a feast like this? Jars of gummy worms, macarons overload, tons of sugar cookies, and oreo pops that were almost too cute to eat!
Pauline’s parents went all out with the addition of food carts on top of the catered feast. With soft wagyu cubes and accompanying flavorful sauces, Black Wagyu provided visitors with even more of a “party-in-the-mouth” experience. Guests also enjoyed the drinks from Sip’s menu and everyone’s favorite feel-good snack from Potato Corner. To cap the meal on a sweeter note, nothing beats the traditional sorbetes from Sorbelato.
Both the young and the old were enthralled spectators, all of whom wore huge smiles on their faces. These Disney princesses probably got everyone singing along with them to favorite Disney songs. The entertainment and activities like the piñata were only a few of the highlights of Pauline’s birthday celebration.
Take a look at all of these toys and sweets! The children would have played with zeal in order to win these prizes. And have a look at these cool giveaway backpacks where they can keep their goodies. Everyone’s a winner!
Striking a pose on this awesome “sugary sweet” photo wall must have been a lot of fun.
Pauline’s parents experienced firsthand the truth of the adage that having a daughter expands your world and fills your heart. And undoubtedly, even at such a young age, Pauline understands that her parents’ love for her knows no bounds.
