Winter Wonderland Theme Party Ideas
A winter wonderland is always a great attraction for tropical island dwellers, so for Sedric’s guests, an invitation to his snow bear themed birthday must be a welcome respite from the torment of Manila’s humid heat. Party Divas Ph did not disappoint, pouring all their creative juices into a brilliant arctic dream using a perfect winter-y color palette of snow white and powder blue. Each smile of delight, every look of pleasure and surprise, and all the wonderful details of Sedric’s 1st birthday are captured in amazing photos by Vineyard Studios.
So here’s the last call for the Polar Express… All aboard!
Like the blue winter sky with light, feathery clouds, lengths of soft blue and white cloth cover the ceiling. Hanging from strings in the ceiling are snowflakes that appear to dance in the air.
The main setup is a virtual snowscape! Nothing screams winter wonderland more than a pair of playful polar bear cubs frolicking in a blanket of cotton snow in front of a backdrop bejeweled with frost and snowflakes. The adorable cubs must be waiting for Sedric to come out of his igloo – it’s time to chill and have some fun. What an awesome display!
Silky, powder blue cloth is draped on the tables, and each is decked with a polar bear figurine, tea candles and a small vase with white mums and crown daisies.
Sedric’s two-layer cake is an inspired creation. Mischievous polar bears play in the snow around the first cake layer. The second layer is adorned with snowballs like a string of icy pearls, and clusters of fondant snowflakes that look like delicate frozen lace. As a topper, a fondant igloo and the cutest polar bear cub wearing a cool blue scarf adorn the cake.
To add to the guests’ gastronomic pleasure are homemade and handcrafted gourmet chips by SpudBuds and the unique and exciting gelato flavors that only Manila Creamery offers.
These darling stools and personalized stickers are both cute and practical presents from the birthday celebrant.
Like the pristine snow, every new page in Sedric’s life is ready for new stories to share with his loving family. This 1st birthday is a first of many birthday stories to come.
