Rosie’s Little Lamb Themed Party – 1st Birthday

A party that’s not too shabby but is undeniably chic and gorgeous, Rosie’s Little Lamb themed party is something fresh and delightfully sweet. I find it interesting that they’ve decided to focus on these darling little lambs as their party theme and in my opinion, they’ve executed it flawlessly, too. Come to think of it, it’s one of the perfect themes to have since its gender neutral, meaningful, and they look so pure, delicate and precious. Aside from birthdays, this theme would also be perfect for baby showers and Baptism!

Here are Mommy Jow’s thoughts on planning Rosie’s lovely party:

“A first birthday is a special event that every parent looks forward to. To tell you the truth, I have been thinking about my daughter’s first birthday party the moment I found out I was having a girl.

I was just too excited to plan my little girl’s party and told my husband my ideas and what I wanted for our first daughter’s birthday. We both agreed that picking the right venue should be our number 1 priority because we wanted to have not just good food but also a place that radiates a warm and special ambiance. We also wanted a place that is accessible to us and our guests. That’s when we thought that The Bellevue Hotel would be the befitting choice for our Rosie’s special day.

I’ve always admired stylish parties and I’m very fortunate to get to know Blue Box Design Studio, an event planner that made it all happen. I told them what I wanted and they were able to come up with dainty, sweet, and very cute ideas and concepts that were perfect for my little girl’s first birthday. I also made them incorporate the “Little Lamb” since I’m very fond of them – so innocent, soft, and adorable, reminds me of my sweet baby Rosie. My event planner took care of everything except for our dessert table which I personally chose to get from Joanna of Cuppy Puppy Bakehouse, she now happens to be my new favorite baker. For the giveaways, initially, I was thinking of giving the headbands and beanies from Little Madison, an online baby/kids shop I own but it would take too much of my time to finish everything so I’ve decided to order our giveaways from Handicrafts atbp.

I’m very glad that I chose all the right suppliers – they cooperated with us and helped me made Rosie’s party the way I liked it. And of course, I’m also grateful to my ever-loving husband for supporting me in making my dream party for Rosie.”

If sweet and dainty is what you’re aiming for, nothing beats the shade of pink. Looking at the entrance to Rosie’s party alone, lots of girly and elegant party details were to be expected.

And sure enough, everything looks stunning and posh! Using the combination of baby pink and brown with a touch of green and yellow here and there, everything looks so soft and ladylike! I like the idea of the framed letters spelling Rosie’s name, a great alternative for the letter standees.

They sure gave a lot of thought to their table setup, from the “Little Lamb” books to the fresh fruits and flowers, those pastel umbrellas provides the perfect touch! All the detail ties perfectly with each other, giving a subtle elegance to Rosie’s party!

Rosie’s dessert tablescape looks amazing and oh so enticing! The desserts matched the theme well and the cute little blushing sheep on top of the cake looks ridiculously cute! For me, the “You are wonderfully made” plate is the cherry on top.

Apollo, their party host, made sure Rosie’s guests have lots of fun at the party.

How adorable are these “Little Lamb” kiddie stools? I don’t know how Handicrafts Atbp. managed to make it look fluffy and cute even in wood.

Oh…a little fun fact: When Rosie was born, her Mom was so fond of dressing her up anywhere they go. Since Rosie was born with less hair, her mom thought that headbands will make her more girly and cute. She had a hard time looking for pretty headbands at the mall that suited her likings, so she decided to make them herself. This became her passion and obsession and her business expanded to making crochet beanies and crochet booties. Do check out her work at Little Madison (IG:LITTLE_MADISoN) on instagram.
