Riley’s Swing Themed Party – 1st Birthday

Birthday bash season is in full swing around here – from relaxed backyard dinners to elegant tea parties and fun-filled country hoedowns, you will find plenty of inspirations for your next own bash. Today, I bring you another party idea for the little lady in your life. Keep scrolling to draw inspiration from Riley’s swing-themed party.

I have seen so many fun-in-the-sun themed parties, but I have to admit, this one recently thrown for Riley took the cake. Her birthday bash was held in One Rockwell. This upscale enclave was a perfect venue for the theme because of its indoor and al fresco sites that are great for a warm-weather get-together. Bespoke Manila team adorned the venue like a picnic garden. They even had something for everyone – a baby lounge, outdoor activities, sweet treats, and gorgeous decorations in shades of mint and pink – so the guests didn’t have to go anywhere because everything was right here. You have to check out all the details, beautifully photographed by Happy Folks Studio, of this dreamy party!

Arts and crafts are just a few of the things that made the scene so appealing. For a winsome welcome, containers brimming with tiny blooms were set at the entrance. The “R” sign embedded on a mirror-like board lent it a sophisticated charm.

The photo gallery added extra delight to the partygoers. It featured Riley and her cheery flashes with her elder sister. The photo collection was perfectly decorated with pink and purple paper medallions. Aren’t they just the cutest?

The tables were jazzed up with white and lavender linens paired with pink runners. The tree stump, bush, grapevine wreath, pastel blooms, and lantern guaranteed a rustic centerpiece. It was finished off with a swinging “R” and a little girl polymer clay sitting on the tree stump. Those really were pretty sweet!

Riley’s party is also bursting with creative crafts and projects. The tables set especially for the pint-sized guests were geared up with coloring pens, crayons, and coloring books. Cool!

A mint and pink two-tier cake with flower and mushroom detailing – with tree and swinging gal atop – was the crowning jewel of the dessert table. I am still in awe of how gorgeous the work of Sugarplum Pastries is. I fell in serious love with the details!

Riley’s dessert table is a masterpiece. It depicted a garden pergola with vines and swings. Each swing had R-I-L-E-Y letter and a cute stuffed toy at rest. After seeing this photo, I just knew I had to see more. Riley, can I come to your next party?

Sweet and refreshing treats were on display – and available for consumption – at the dessert table. Crème Brulee, Fruit Tartlets, Banana Cupcakes, Fruits, Caramel Popcorn, Strawberry Mallows, Cookies, Red Velvet Cake, Chocolate Fountain, and a tree of Meringue were among the picnic goodies. Handfuls of popcorn and mallow were perfectly displayed in white holders. I love that the desserts were decorated to complement the theme. Yum!

In-between sips and nibbles, guests could jump into the photo booth area to take some silly and fun photos! You can really feel that summer is just around the corner with its white wooden bench and white wooden wall filled with flowering plants above – what a fancy setup!

A bubble activity kept the kids enthused at Riley’s party. The kids were given a variety of bubble wands and their parents let them play with bubbles, blow bubbles, spill solution, chase bubbles, pop bubbles, and try to catch them without popping them. It was so much fun!
