Floral Blooms Theme Party Ideas
An adorable little girl is christened, and since baptism is a celebration of life, her doting parents rejoiced with family and friends with a shower of flowers that represent all the good virtues that they wish for her – grace, gentleness, beauty, humility, joy…
Safe in her dad’s embrace and with his reassuring gaze, Gabrielle experienced the anointing with water at Santuario San Antonio’s baptismal font. Gabrielle may be too young to remember this meaningful ceremony but she’ll be able to look back at this memory with fondness when she sees herself in these family photos. Here she is dressed in a charming, beige-pink laced baptismal gown and her family looking just as stylish and cool in their matching attires.
The lunch reception that followed at the Raffles Hotel is steeped in classic elegance, thanks to the masterful planning and creative design of Bespoke Manila. The tables were prettily dressed in white lace table cloth. For centerpiece, nothing can be more divine than a bouquet of fresh flowers – pink and peach roses, light blue hydrangeas, yellow carnations, some aster and eucalyptus leaves arranged in a wooden box. A small white lamp and a white birdhouse added a charming, shabby-chic vibe to the design.
Gabrielle’s two-tiered cake is covered in white fondant that looked like wispy layers of silk. A gorgeous spray of edible blooms made up of white peonies, baby blue and mauve gardenia and lovely anemones made this cake an extraordinary feast for the eyes.
Guests must have found the dessert spread simply irresistible with a host of delectable sweets that included trays of monogrammed sugar cookies and cake pops artfully decorated with lace-like fondant. There were cupcakes adorned with an assortment of dainty pastel-hued flowers, caramel popcorn in cute, pink paper bowls, and mini cakes served in shot glasses. There were glass jars filled with strawberry and chocolate covered pretzels and wafer sticks. This is what a sweet-tooth’s dream is made of.
Time flies when you’re having fun, and this is exactly what the young and young-at-heart did at Gabrielle’s party. Guests played architect creating an urbanscape with Lego blocks or pretended to be a train engineer driving a high speed train. A huge dollhouse and some pretend food carts were also on site to provide Gabrielle and her friends with hours of play.
To thank her Ninongs and Ninangs for their commitment to be a part of her life, Gabrielle surprised them with these wonderful presents.
Every child is a blessing that brings indescribable happiness to a home. By celebrating her life though her christening, Gabrielle’s parents gave her the priceless gift of faith. Indeed, she is far more precious than any jewels!
