Adorable Under the Sea Theme Party Ideas
It’s quite the shell-ebration at Erin’s birthday splash thanks to Sweet Nest Events who turned the venue into an under the sea fantasy! With Dapple Photo behind the lens to capture every moment, and every pearly white smile, this indeed will serve as a precious memento for the family.
Welcome to Erin’s Under the Sea 1st birthday adventure! Guests were greeted by a friend from down under with all its eight legs holding up different signs showing the fun and exciting things you could find inside. The beautiful blue arc mimics a rip curl wave, and scattered on the sides are fresh plants similar to the ones you would find on the ocean floor.
Different shades of blue adorn the ceiling with purple pastels that injected a very fresh and cool aesthetic. The balloons as bubbles, and lanterns as jellyfish added a playful twist to the entire ceiling setup.
A throne fit for our charming princess sits at the center of the stage. Modeled after a clam because after all Erin is as precious as a pearl. Giant waves, schools of fish, and our favorite red-headed mermaid and her prince were present to join the fun.
Make it simple but significant. Gold table runners and simple yet chic mermaid tail centerpieces adorn the kiddie tables while beautiful candelabra with coral bases for the adult tables looked quite a masterpiece.
Speaking of a masterpiece, this cake by Honey Glaze sure is one. Beautiful layers of cake, each with distinct decorations were nothing but pure loveliness through and through.
Even Nemo along with his friend Dory made an appearance on the dessert spread by Sweet Creation by Mums! The two pals take their place guarding the sweet treats station. If you aren’t a fan of cupcakes, don’t stress because there are loads more of desserts to choose from like cake pops, donuts, and french macarons.
