Nursery Rhymes Theme Party Ideas
How many nursery rhymes can you recall? Some of the first things we learned to memorize as children were nursery rhymes. The memories from our childhood eventually link with them as we learn every sentence by heart, like our parents holding our hands, playing with us, singing us lullabies, and the first day of school.
Speaking of experiencing firsts as a child, Bespoke Manila did an amazing job bringing the characters from our favorite nursery rhymes to life and creating a whimsical party for Nathan’s first birthday. Would you like to join us as we count all the nursery rhymes showcased at the party?
Here comes our first song! The wheels on the bus go round and round. We’re starting things off with this classic tune, and I have to say, the invitation is the cutest.
The details on this entrance/photo wall are on point, from the barn, tractor, and fence to the windmill. I’m sure guests had a blast taking their souvenir snaps here!
This lovely sight is their stage backdrop, how adorable is that? It’s such a pleasure to be greeted by Mr. Sun as he shines brightly! A fine day is waiting ahead, that’s for sure.
The horn on the bus goes beep, beep, beep as we enter the venue. We see the tiny buses waiting for us at the tables. Oh, and did you see the hint for our second song? Twinkling stars are also used as centerpieces, tying in with the theme of the party.
Oh, little Nathan had farm, ee-i-ee-i-o! Handcrafted by Sugarplum Pastries, this cake is nothing but playful. Check out the farm animals, who look like they all came out of the giant book.
Are you still on track with the counting? I’m sure all kids will dance to our fourth nursery rhyme of the day. Nathan’s dessert spread is full of sweet delights inspired by “Baby shark, doo doo doo doo!” This Pinkfong song sure is famous among kids and kids at heart. The desserts all look so cute and yummy. Just looking at them makes me happy doo doo doo doo.
Aside from nursery rhymes, kids love games, and here at Nathan’s party, they surely got it. How about a little trip to each activity station? Ring toss, balloon pop, spill the milk—you choose!
Huggable teddy bears were given to Nathan’s guests as a simple token for dancing and singing with him as he celebrated his first birthday.
Moments like these will forever be treasured in a child’s heart. Nathan may not be able to remember every detail, but the happiness and love he felt are memories he’ll keep forever.
