Royal Princess Theme Party Ideas
Every little girl dreams of becoming a princess — and frankly speaking, the dream never really left our young hearts. Which is why we all felt giddy and excited when we had to plan a royal ball-inspired party for her highness Jasmine! Let’s face it: there’s a million ways to pull off this dreamy theme and the amazing creatives at Party Magic really tapped in to their inner fairy godmothers to make this fete truly fantastic! So don your ball gowns and glass slippers, and enjoy the glitz and glamour captured by Shutter Count Photography.
“Hear ye, hear ye!” Guests were given this lovely invitation bearing all the details of Jasmin’s royal ball. And because it’s a ball, it was truly an honor to get invited!
True to theme, Jasmine donned a lovely ball gown in blush pink. It was a magnificent, layered skirt dress embellished with glittering beads and intricate appliques from top to bottom—truly a frock fit for a princess!
The party venue, Casa Ibarra’s Events Place, was transformed into a beautiful palace. Guests were greeted by a towering entrance in gold and light pink flanked with two turrets. Once inside, they have to pass through the gilded gates adorned with flowers and lights – a breathtaking entrance that’s one for the books!
The magic, however, doesn’t stop at the gates. The ceiling was another majestic sight to behold! Light-colored swags and Japanese lanterns spanned the overhead, but what truly caught everyone’s eye was the splendid décor of balloons. Different colored balloons filled a better part of the ceiling, while larger ones in pink made the overall installation cohesive and simply perfect!
Of course, the stage was set to mimic a castle fit for a young princess. With flower walls, fancy turrets topped in pink, and white horses, it was as spectacular and opulent as we imagined it to be! A single white chair with gold accents placed in the middle served as the throne for li’l Jasmine.
Guests were to dine with pleasure, as tables had charming centerpieces that echoed the royal theme. Mini bouquets of fresh flowers arranged in layers complemented the tiny carriage and golden branches.
Jasmine’s cake was a gorgeous three-layered confection from the kitchen of Honey Glaze Cakes. Made to look like a charming pink palace, it was filled with charming deets like creeping vines of flowers, a lovely coach, and towers with golden roofs. To be honest, it was just too pretty to eat! That’s why perhaps six other mini-cakes were laid out for guests to enjoy.
What’s a royal ball without entertainment? Madison Events put on a good show for the court as princes and princesses wonderfully danced their hearts out. It was like getting up close and personal with most of our childhood fantasies!
Aside from the marvelous show, there were tons of fun activities for everyone to join in! It looked like younger guests all gamely took part in the festivities—even in their dresses!
Winners get to take home fancy prizes, which is enough motivation to get moving. Plushies, toys, sweet treats, and knickknacks were given away to the victors!
And if games weren’t to your fancy, food carts were there to fill up rumbling tummies. Courtiers and nobles had a taste of crunchy, fresh churros from Mr. Churros, while others enjoyed having their taste buds tickled with swirls of cotton candies from Sweet Belly. Red Mango was also there to provide some cool treats.
Didn’t we say there’s more to love about this fabulous fete? When we saw the photowall setup, frankly speaking, we were totally stunned! A carriage draped in golden leaves and pink tulle was such a dream to take snaps in! Beside it was a luxurious gilded settee that will awake the inner princess in all of us! Plus, the background had us feeling we were lounging in a palace garden!
As tokens of gratitude, guests took home these fluffy, pink, crown-shaped pillows and exciting loot boxes. We haven’t seen what’s inside but we’re pretty sure every box is filled with delightful goodies perfect for sharing!
Pretty Jasmine and her parents were overflowing with happiness and appreciation to everyone who took the time to celebrate with them. We only wish the best for the young celebrant, and that she will always be the princess of her loving parents, no matter how much she grows up.
