Inspired by the many blessings that come with the season, Chloe and her family rejoice in her christening and celebrate her life like an ode to spring. And what a truly beautiful ode it was, thanks to premier caterer and stylist, K. by Cunanan, who stayed true to the theme and did a brilliant job recreating the many pleasures of spring in every element of the design. Chloe will be happy to look back at this once in a lifetime experience when she browse through her photos by Bob and Zab Photography.
Chloe’s baptism is both solemn and joyful. Dressed all in white, the ancient symbol of purity, Chloe receives the sacrament of baptism. At the baptismal font, the priest does the ritual cleansing by pouring water on her head. After anointing Chloe with chrism and cloaking her with white cloth, the priest lights the baptismal candle as a final ceremonial act, and as a reminder to all present of the True Light of the World. Chloe has received the sacrament of baptism and her family and godparents warmly welcomes her to the Christian world.
It’s springtime at the reception venue with all the vibrant colors of the season! The area that served as main backdrop is adorned with a balloon garland in pretty pastel hues. All around the balloons are lovely bouquets that reinforce the gifts of spring – life, growth, beauty. Along with the balloons and bouquets, are beautiful flower arrangements with blue hydrangeas, pink and white roses. Nests made of raffia are brimming with eggs.
The tables are draped with salmon pink cloth. A lush garland of leaves runs along the length of the table, adding a touch of rustic charm to this already exquisite design.
To celebrate Chloe’s christening, Cottontail Cake Studio created an adorable cake embellished with cute little fondant bunnies standing next to Chloe’s lemonade stand. Cupcakes with buttercream frosting look even sweeter with delightful bunny-toppers.
Just take a look at this luxurious spread – expensive cheeses, the tastiest charcuterie meats, sweet and juicy fruits, nuts and an assortment of spreads. What delish grazing table to start a great feast!
“Blossom by blossom, spring begins…” Very much like the blessing of a child to a family; a child that is born to bring joy and hope. May everyday be like spring to this beautiful family.
