Girly Circus Theme Party Ideas
They say that life is a circus, and with what’s going on today, we couldn’t agree more! But, we’re not here to put a damper on your spirits, oh no! We’re just too excited to share today’s party inspo — a circus-themed fete with a dreamy twist. Of course, we expect no less from the creative team of Sweet Nest Events, specially with Bespoke Manila at the helm. Curious yet? Well then, enjoy the wonderful snaps from the fun and whimsical bash of li’l Cassie for her first birthday.
“Come one, come all!” says the invitation, and frankly speaking, who can resist such a call? It was a merry invitation to a party that promises a day of excitement and entertainment!
Anyone who’s been at the circus can remember how it felt standing in front of the mysterious looming tent—it’s a mixture of anticipation, confusion, and wonder, but in a good way. And really, how adorable is that ticket booth by the door? Or how about that pastel-colored signpost?
The stage is where the magic happens, and you bet your hoopers, it’s the same at Cassie’s birthday bash! A backdrop of lights added whimsy to the charming carousel and fantastic Ferris wheel!
Since it’s a girly affair, it’s no surprise that pastels abound in the décor. There’s pink or a hint of it on the tables and centerpieces, too. Spot the pink-colored bunny, an essential prop in magic shows! Thoughtfully placed circus-themed deets filled the spaces, and we agree that it’s such a tasteful ensemble.
Even their kiddie tables look lovely with a pretty setup of its own.
For us at PDM, birthday cakes are one of the things we look forward to in every party. Believe us when we say that we’ve already seen hundreds of them, but we’re still on the lookout for crazily creative sugar art. And Cassie’s cake, folks, made us squeal with delight! An adorable tutu-wearing performer balances on the trunk of an elephant who’s keeping it together on a rolling ball. Of course, that’s to be expected since it was churned from the marvelous kitchen of Sugarplum Pastries!
The dessert spread is truly a feast for the eyes and taste buds! Pastel-hued balloons and swirls of tulle lent a dainty look to the nook, but what’s eye-catching are the sweet treats from Sugarplum Pastries themselves.
Cupcakes, sugar cookies, and cake pops all came with intricate, colorful designs that are just too pretty to gobble up in one go! Bags of popcorn and ice cream cones were turned into cake pops while pinwheels became toppers for cupcakes!
What’s a birthday bash without a show, right? While there are no unicyclists, tightrope walkers, and jugglers, a balloon-twisting genius wowed the audience with their feats.
Reminiscing circus from our childhood, these game booths provided great entertainment before the big show. Guests had game cards so they can choose from balloon pop, shooting game, ring toss, corn hole toss, stand-a-bottle, and spill-the-milk. If they won, they get to take home amazing prizes!
Active kids had a grand time jumping in and around the inflatable playground. Some had their funny caricatures made, which they brought home as a souvenirs.
Different food carts lined up the venue to appease the hungry guests—after all, playing is hard work! They get to choose from popcorn, nuts, fish balls, and kikiam.
As tokens of gratitude for attending the affair, guests received adorable, fluffy plushies, cutely stuffed in a drawstring canvas bag. These are perfect for cuddling or dreaming all your troubles away!
