Are you up for a crash course in Norse Mythology? Particularly about Asgard? Home of Odin, Loki and of course, Thor, these otherworldly gods will take us to a magical journey through Althor’s over-the-top birthday bash. A venue amazingly transformed to something out of this world, I’m head over heels in love with the different details Khim of Party Deco put into this party. Filling up the place with a parade of stars, themed desserts and all things Thor-worthy, this is definitely one of the best Thor themed parties I’ve seen. Honestly, every detail – big and small, is a masterpiece to be seen! Making sure that this party is overloaded with nothing but the coolest stuff, I bet any boy (and girl) will be more than happy to attend Althor’s party.
Sharing with us some fun bits and pieces of Althor’s party is Khim of Party Deco:
“The parents wanted something new and to focus on THOR because of their son’s name.
Naturally, the inspiration for this party was derived from the movie THOR. For the stage set up, we wanted it to have the feel that they were entering the kingdom of Asgard. The dessert table inspiration was Heimdall’s observatory. For the photobooth we made a replica of Odin’s throne where guests could actually sit and take their picture.
We also have “Asgardians” walking around during the party! “
Starting off the awesomeness with their venue décor. A ceiling brimming with stars, I love that it instantly made the venue intergalactic-ready.
Their stage setup looks pretty rad! Complete with a screen projector showing the movies Thor and The Avengers, Khim really knows how to make a statement. Kicking up a notch higher with each party after the next, I’m so excited to see what she will do next.
For the table centerpieces, I cannot think of anything more fitting than Thor and his hammer, Mjölnir. But wait, take note that it was personalized. Coolness! For the kiddie table setup, everything was right on theme, too. From the balloons, coloring activity to the water bottles, everything screams Thor.
Oh Loki, why so adorable? While I’ll always be on team Loki, no offense to Thor, even in dessert form, he still look really cool. Teehee! From the cuter than cute Odin, Loki and Thor cakepops to the sugarcookies, Althor’s dessert tablescape is truly fit for the gods. Oh…and Althor’s cake is quite impressive.
Eeep! Check out their photo op area, why, it’s Odin’s throne! I super love that they recreate this detail. I mean, come on, who wouldn’t want to have their photos taken here?
