It was a roaring fun time for everyone who came to celebrate Alas’ safari-themed welcoming party! With Party Station’s creative juices flowing, the venue was virtually a tropical jungle. And thanks to Nice Print Photography and their epic photos, Alas will be able to look back at the first of many parties!

There’s no mistaking the safari vibe of this party with zebra stripes and giraffe spots, and four jungle cubs welcoming Alas and his party guests through the doors of Winford Manila Resort & Casino.

Like rays of sunshine through the jungle canopy, the ceiling was alit with a multitude of pendant lights. And like the vines and lianas that spread from tree to tree, a collection of faux foliage were hanging from blue and white drapings on the ceiling. It must have been difficult for the guests to not look up and stare – it was beautifully decorated.

Zoo-rific! Alas’ stage mimicked the mossy jungle floor with a dark green carpet and the thick jungle foliage with an assortment of faux ivy, fern and other leafy greens. Best of all, there were the cutest baby jungle animals – an adorable lion cub, a mischievous baby monkey, a quirky baby giraffe and a gentle zebra foal.

The centrepiece on each of the table consisted of a refreshing mix of leafy plants in small glass planters surrounded by miniature jungle animals.

Wow! Alas’ doting parents spared no expense with this lavish four-tiered cake. It was embellished with blue and white fondant, toy blocks and a menagerie of the cutest jungle animals – a lion, hippo, giraffe, monkeys and an elephant, all made with sweet, gummy fondant. It simply looks too good to slice up and eat.

A sweet treat for a sweet tooth, Alas’ bash included a cart where several mouth-watering flavors of gourmet cotton candy were spun like magic. There were more sweet treats at the dessert corner which featured the best of Boulangerie 22’s cakes and pastries. Laid out on the table was a generous spread of Chocolate Macadamia Cookies, S’mores Cookies, Japanese Custard Cream Cheese Bread, Strawberry Overload, Chocolate Dulce de Leche bread. And as if these weren’t enough, there were three charming little cakes, two of which were chocolate chiffon cakes covered with dark chocolate ganache – one shaped like a delightful bear and the other a cute monkey. The third was a rich carrot cake covered in white chocolate ganache and designed to look like a whimsical rabbit. There must have been a long queue for all these wonderful treats.

Although it was Alas’ party, his guests were treated to some awesome giveaways! Guests went home with goody bags filled with Belo products and throw pillows with the cutest animal prints.
