Aiden’s Winter Wonderland Themed Party – 2nd Birthday

How about capping off the year with something sweet and oh-so cute? Since dessert tablescapes are getting a lot of hype at parties today, it’s no surprise that it became the highlight of Aiden’s party. And you know what? Everything was so adorable! I like how Daphne of PartyBoo-The Party Designers (Malaysia) styled Aiden’s Winter Wonderland themed dessert table, she used lots of personalized and cute goodies in it. I’m sure all the guests were in for a lovely and yummy treat! This winter-rific dessert spread sure gave me lots of great ideas for next year’s Christmas party.

Daphne shares with me her thoughts on styling Aiden’s dessert table:

“With Aiden’s birthday just 2 days away from Christmas, we were thinking that a “Winter Wonderland” theme would be right for his 2nd birthday party. We felt the festive mood of the Christmas season while designing this party and this gave us tons of ideas and inspirations on how to make this party absolutely perfect.

For a wintry feel, we combined light blue, silver and white colors. We also used lots of snowflakes and fairy lights to create that magical, snowy effect.

For us, this is a great party where we get to challenge ourselves to come up with new and better ideas and in turn, it pushed our creativity to the next level. The result was FANTASTIC. We were really happy with how it all turned out!”

I love how these sparkly and shimmery fairy lights gave the perfect wintery feel. And what about those 2 balloon pillars that were arranged to look like a white Christmas tree? It’s a very creative idea, indeed. Bbbrrr…

Using 2 of the most iconic characters associated with winter wonderland – the adorable snowman and cute little penguin.  One can never go wrong with them. I like how they made a cute snowman by stacking up 2 white lanterns, paper cone and some cutout for its nose and eyes, plus red scarf and Santa’s hat. Coolness! A fun and easy DIY idea for a Christmas decoration.

Honestly, if it hadn’t been for the brick wall and green grass, I would have really thought that the party was somewhere in Winter Wonderland!

  1. This theme reminds me of what we’re about to have – a snow storm. The only difference is of course, everything stays pristine and nice as compared to the slushy, dark ice later on after the storm.

  2. I do really enjoy your photos I feel like I want to be a child again so I can enjoy this kind of party. Does it cost a lot to organize this kind of party? Im just curious.

  3. I love the shade of blue that perfectly complements the masculinity of the celebrant, the winter theme and the celebratory environment
