There are so many iconic moments that come to mind when we think of the Cinderella story. But how many times have you heard kids, when asked what they remember about the story, mention the mice friends or the rough chores Cinderella does around the house? There are probably very few, or none. And so today, we bring you one party that tells the story of Cinderella before she became the princess we have come to know and love! Find your new fave, and get ready to live happily ever after!
For Joie’s birthday celebration, instead of going through the usual Cinderella route, her parents got extra creative and opted for a theme inspired by the episodes before she went to the royal party. And the outcome is nothing short of perfection! Khim Cruz of Party Deco transformed the venue into an enchanted forest where Cinderella has her home. Classic with a fresh spin, every element could not be more spot on! And the whole room was tied together with one of the most elegant color combos around, blue and gold. I have died and gone to fantasy heaven in this bash! Read on and see the photos, so you too can escape to this world.
This is utter beauty and magic! The chateau backdrop, the Cinderella standee, the Bruno, Gus and Jaq plush toys, and other accent pieces, added that certain je ne sais quoi to the stage!
The sweetest, and even the deepest dreams, would glow along this overhead display! The cove lamps created just the right mood, but the addition of the hanging decorations were the icing on the cake! We also adore how well the die cuts of the three sewing mice went with the tassels without competing for attention.
As you know, we love genius ideas over here at PDM – and these housework tools as centerpieces clearly do our obsession justice! They were great addition to the blooms and added just as much color and statement.
These storybook placemats made meal time also story time for the kids. We just love them layered on top of the pretty patterned tablecloth!
Cinderella’s pink dress was perfectly recreated in this cake! We are pretty sure her feathered and mice friends would approve of you eating this one!
Just when we thought a dessert table could not be any more fabulously gorgeous, someone went and put up this one! We love how much the modish clock backdrop, the Cinderella standee, and the pink dress remind us of the classic Disney movie. The pink dress is for real, ladies! Oh, and did we mention the desserts? GOOD LORD! They are the most amazingly decorated desserts ever! Bonus points for the twine and trinket added to each dessert glass presentation!
Who can forget the memorable “Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo” dress rescue of Fairy Godmother? Well, Joie got her own “Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo-tique” to match!
Party favor commandment # 1: Let your favor be functional. And so when the day came to an end, Joie sent her wee guests home with these favors perfect for pampering!
